Marvel Heroes 2016 |OT3| Highway to the Danger Room

Game has gone from 350, to 200, now to 60. But the game is healthy!!!
/s

Yesterday on stream Brevik said the game is pretty much done planning, and development wise. Now they only really add content, characters, balances, and costumes. There's not much for people to do, not much for a lot of people to be interested in. There will be new things like Danger Room, but that don't require many people.

It's pretty much how it is for other MMO games. When it's first being designed and developed it require a lot of people. When it's done, it just take certain people to keep it interesting.

Maybe Gazillion should have been making other games too instead of being the Marvel heroes company.

Red suits Spidey so much. Shame I want to punish myself and reach cosmic 60.

Just got Jeans All New X-Men costume so I'll buy and level her next.

Don't do cosmic.

You can literally level 25 character to 60 in the same amount of time.

It's not worth it.

I just can't be bothered to do those daily and weekly missions. They're so tedious without any challenge at all. "Defeat 300 elite enemies of the X-Men". How about no.

who gives a fuck what her face looks like? do people really sit and oogle over the female characters?

sad

Plenty of people will care what her face looks like. The pics of BC that I have seen online tell me Marvel have marketed her as a character with a high degree of sex appeal. A face that doesnt meet some basic expectations in regards to attractiveness, will disappoint many of her fans, no doubt. You may find it hard to understand/appreciate and see it a sad. Its just logical to me.

except she looks fine and theres like 3 people complaining...I bet youre one of them lol

Nah. Theres more than that. I did post my opinion there, but tried to be diplomatic. Some posts are too blunt and aggressive. Its a delicate situation because I (and most other people, I'd imagine) dont want to be responsible for Dink crying over her keyboard, but I also want a nice end product too.

I go sign up for em and then go about my business. You might find by the end of the day/week you don't have much more to do to finish.

I like her face in that pic but I think people are justified in criticizing it if they don't like it. After all we are paying $15+ for one hero at a time they better freaking look good.

The issue isn't that it doesn't look good, it's that it doesn't look like what their version of an attractive woman looks like, which is some hot garbage. Don't do that. Don't be that guy. No one likes that guy except other Those Guys.

Couldn't have said it better myself. What the fuck is an attractive face even supposed to look like for comparison's sake? There are probably people who would only be happy with huge animu eyes and a tiny Michael Jackson nose.

So after switching to doing Taskmaster terminal runs. Yeah this is probably faster. It feel better as well.

It's also one of the better ways to get Omega points, fast and low risk and you can even forgo defense for a high dps spec to make it even faster. It's not that MM or ICP are bad, but you really want a full party, in tune, who are set on obliterating everything as soon as it turns up and that's hard to get. Also the mind and credits to reroll your LQs. a long session might cost upwards of a million or more.

Terminals are just more consistent, but I can see how people could get bored with them. I'm an old school arpg-er, so I don't mind boss runs at all when I just want to tune out and listen to a podcast or watch a football match.

Rogue stolen powers getting some updates

We're doing some Rogue stolen power updates that will launch at the end of the month, focusing on creating more options for specific builds. You'll see more powers that talk to Max HP, Max Spirit, Movement, among others.

As part of that, I'm pushing to retrofit the Support category over time. Depending on how things go, we may end up making this global and adjust all Supports to fit into the new style to some degree. Colossus and Juggernaut will be part of the first batch. These will now be toggled powers (can only have 1 active) that add a secondary resource bar and new mechanics to Rogue.

Juggernaut's adds a mechanic very similar to his Momentum, building up as you move and spending to amp up the damage of certain powers, such as Blob's Belly Flop. Colossus' simply adds his Armor mechanic straight-up, which replenishes when you use Dive Bomb. However, these come with a trade-off. Colossus' will be replacing his total defense and deflect rating bonus multipliers - these were a result of a global change to certain properties, and ended up making this power way too strong, even with it's dodge chance reduction. Part of the design of Rogue's passive or pseudo-passive Support powers is that they all have a unique affix that can't be found on any other passive. The defense rework made that not the case for several powers unfortunately, and this will rectify that. Both total defense multiplier and total deflect multiplier are still available through other stolen passives. In regards to trading off functionality for these newfound mechanics, Juggernaut's, as a toggle, will lose its on-demand invulnerability, but will retain the on-death invulnerability.

Ultimately, the goal here is to make the Support category more defined and interesting, leaning it away from steroids and more into toggles.

I can only cringe.

Forcing players into one zone and asking them to kill a ton of only a subset of enemies there is not exactly fun. It's limiting. Especially if you're not a fan of said zone.

300 enemies is really nothing

Just accept the quest and do your think, may finish it without realizing

I have the same amount of time invested, I just accept the quest, if I do it, fine if not no biggie

really isn't that big a deal, rewards aren't great

I just asked you in game but you got off.

I have a huge stack of them so I can hand you what you need.

Oh I just logged on real quick while the football game was at halftime. I have some I just couldn't remember when I got them cause I was just grabbing runes and stashing them.

The rep is pretty major if you're still working on that, and the commendations are always useful.

Rep is great until you already have enough for the lvl 80 legendaries, and yeah the commendations are good, but its like 5 at a time at most

But that....thats the game

No, it's a part of the game and one that I'm not particularly fond of. It's the same reason why most people hate killing the trashmobs in the danger room missions after you finish the objectives to fill up the bar. That goes for the first Ultron mission as well. In case of the weekly mission it's also frustrating that you have to wait for certain enemies to spawn. It's not a huge deal, obviously, it's just something I wish they'd change.

It's a bit boring, but it is also supposed to happen over the course of a week. I usually get those done the same day I pick them up. Just party up for a while in MM.

I actually prefer those to the dailies where you need to pick casings and wires from certain enemies. Those aren't worth it for sure. Yesterday or the day before that we got the Axis one and I swear I killed every single turret on the map and didn't get the thing from them. I had to get into a new instance to finally get it.
