Marvel Heroes 2016 |OT3| Highway to the Danger Room

okay so ryolnir earlier in stream today said their isnt a ban on x men heroes.

heres my take on everything.

earlier last year we was told x men fans would be happy with ap3, around november december we start being told of delays around ap3 annoucement, im beliving what happend was. gazillion had a list of heroes which may have included 1 or 2 xmen heroes. marvel basically said fuck that nope, do x y z hero (cough ultron ) and then told them leave the 7th spot open which can include any hero.
 
Even if there was a ban he wouldnt say it, so...

I dont think theres a ban per se, but im sure there's a lot of "suggesting" going on from Marvel
 
I doubt there's a ban, but Marvel can probably cause shitloads of delays and demands to get the character's "look" right etc. so they just know not to push it. I mean we did just get Kitty not too long ago...

And I can do without Beast tyvm. Also it's pretty obvious they held back Deadpool's review to coincide with the movie getting close to release, so I don't really know wtf is going on there.
 
I still find it very odd that Bishop is so integral to the storyline, yet he hasn't even been suggested anywhere as a possibility. He has a cool powerset too and most importantly for the idiots on the forum he was in the 90s cartoon.
 
Thinking of getting into this game. Are the heroes at the start the only heroes I can choose until I get enough in-game currency to buy a new one? I really want to play as Daredevil, but I assume since he's not a start character I'm going to have to wait a while?

Otherwise I think I'll go with Panther as a starter.

I thought you could choose any hero except like the newest couple to get for free? Additionally I thought Daredevil was a free hero.

In either case, you'll get enough currency for logging in 2 days to buy another hero.
 
Gaz isn't part of the X-Men/Fantastic 4 ban because they made their license contract before the ban was instated.
However, I'm pretty sure that in order to keep a good working relationship with Marvel, especially after invoking Marvel's ire by having that Fantastic 4 stuff when F4nt4st1c came out, they're trying to keep them happy by doing characters that Marvel is suggesting.

You're right. I posted that before picking a character haha, so I thought only those 12 or so heroes at the menu screen were playable at first. I picked Hawkeye at first but then found the real selection menu and chose Daredevil.
 
Game is dead to me until Marrow is playable, the greatest of the x-men

My game was buggy after the update. First, I couldnt do any direct damage to enemies (only my team up and summons could). Then I couldnt use any powers at all, because the game put me in perma-flight status (even though I was walking around). Had to do a combination of re-logging and shutting down the whole program to get back to normal.
 
Anoregon stop stealing our shit, its a fucking team. its a party, the loot is for all of us! ;_;
 
Due to an issue discovered, we are temporarily live tuning off Danger Room.

Oh, each person could open the end chests so you could get 5x end chest loot in a full party. Better turn an entire game mode off for an undetermined amount of time.
 
Funny how they say this year is focus more on quality and this is one of the buggiest patches in a while.

Ranging from visual effect bugs to flight powers bugging abd keeping you in flight state and disabling your body slide. To chapter 10 bugging progress or stopping skills from working.

To the coffer bug n danger room bug lol.

The flight bug was reported on tc lol

They reaaally wanted the 2016 update out in January which is understandable but I'm not sure it was worth it. Everything could have used more time.

I got the flight bug on Carol. I couldn't pick up loot, bodyslide or use any powers. I had to relog and lost out on a mystic madness coffer and a unique. Booooo.
 
First I've logged in in like 3 days....fucking crashing like a motherfucker on steam. The fuck did spaz do to the game with their damn update? Now they need to patch the patch that will need another patch to patch the patch.

UPDATE: Had to uninstall Sweetfx from the game as well, that shit was causing crashes too now.

I knew they were rushing it out too early when they were putting up TC updates the night before. I don't understand why they just don't let Danger Room ride until they figure out how to fix it. That would have seriously made a lot of people happy, and potentially gotten people to forget about the other bugs.
 
I think its why we wont see this on consoles.

Sony n ms certification tjis game would never pass.

Ive never known a mmo with such buggy patches. Bugs that cripple game modes or heroes every single week
 
To be fair though, at this point it's really easy to port through the areas and get the stuff. And since doing the story is now the fastest way to level a character to 60, it's only gotten easier.
 
Just got my MeleePool through the cosmic trial, with ease. 1k Omegas, blessed artifacts, heartbreaker rune word and 66/69/69/63/66 gear. Beat it with 1:45 left. His new ultimate is fantastic.
 
This 'no damage' glitch is shocking. Someone in chat said it only happens if you initiate a flight power, but its happening to me even when Im not doing that (using Rogue).
Normally Gaz bugs are at worst, a minor inconvenience for me (and I can just ignore them), but this new one is really pissing me off. Not being able to damage enemies is pretty significant. Hope the devs can fix this soon. I'll switch to another character for now and see if that helps.
