The plan is that once we get the discount coupon/daily draw system out of beta and working for a while, we will change the daily login reward system to only have the "big milestone awards"(Cakes, Wolverine TU, etc) and let the daily draw system give you the daily item (chance at a g discount, other small random items.

The small, random items from the daily draw will be reviewed/updated and will be much easier for us to update/change over time than the current system.

No ETA on this change, but there is a basic plan for it.

Also, YoungNg is the new character artist who did the All New Cap and American Dream costumes. Good work so far.

test is up with Angela. Going to give her a look now.

She has a ton of bleed and a ton of area. Also a passive that makes her ribbons attack random enemies around her (like War Machine's turret), also has specializations. Double attack rate on ribbons/3% chance to deflect projectiles or a spec to have them pull enemies into melee range.

Area execute that always brutals.

She has two different melee weapons, single target sword and area polearm sort of deal. She doesn't switch between them, just certain powers pull out a different weapon.

There is rare chance at a costume drop but don't count on that ever happening.

Also you can take 3 costumes you dont want and put them into the blender to get a random one back. Could be any costume for any character though.

Logged in last night thinking I might feel like playing. Flew around the new Avengers HQ some, said "neat", realized I had no desire to actually play, and quit again. I still keep up with it though (mostly by lurking here).

Our main focus at the moment is this week's patch, currently scheduled for Thurday, August 25th.

Both Angela and the Chapter 1 update are currently in Test Center for testing and feedback, and are likely to go out with this week's patch.

This patch will also bring with it the End of Summer event, which will run for a full week! We'll be posting a separate thread with the details on this event soon, so keep an eye out for that.

We also have a visual update for Colossus' default costume which should be hitting Test Center very soon, potentially also going out this week.

On the horizon, we have quite a bit to discuss... expect to hear a lot more from us regarding upcoming plans for Marvel Heroes as we move into September.

The End of Summer event is almost here!

This past summer has been a scorcher so Dr. Pym and Mr. Fantastic put their great minds together to make Never Melting Ice Cream Bars for their fellow heroes to help keep them cool. Jealous that they didn’t have access to this new tasty technology, villains banded together and stole all of the Ice Cream Bars for themselves and stole the secret Never Melting Cores!

Help our heroes survive the hot summer by recovering the Never Melting Ice Cream Bars and Never Melting Cores from those dastardly villains.

Defeat enemies for a chance to get a Never Melting Ice Cream Bar which will give you a temporary boost! Bosses also have a small chance at dropping Cupcakes!

Also defeat enemies to collect the Never Melting Cores back from them and turn them into the Special Events Vendor for some fun in the sun rewards!

This event will start with the upcoming patch and run for a full week, including:

50% Increased XP and increased Cosmic Prestige Leveling

Daily log-in gifts that include Never Melting Cores

Actually...I would. I'd love to see her get her own move set.

To buy Spider-Man, then buy the Costume on top is just way too expensive for me (works out to cost like $30us). I would rather just have Gwen her own character then buy her out right.

It's really going to depend on which character you'll end up using, since some use more powers than others.
