While Sundragon is live and well, but no one remembers her, Singularity is bad name and a generic look. They should do better.
Well if they ever wanted to simplify things and get it back to one core team under Xaiver going with the X-Men '92 battle world is the quickest and easiest way to do it.
This cover gives away that it looks like that is exactly what they are likely doing.

Really wish we could move to the point were female characters can have different facial expressions and shapes, every face looks the same!
With that large a roster I'm guessing it'll almost exclusively focus on the most popular ones and leave the rest of the more interesting characters like Monica in the dust.
