Marvel working on a Captain Britain series?

For like 10 minutes.

Then he fights fairies, parades around the multi-verse, has an X-man team, it's also a proper legacy mantle instead of "Well Steve is done for like, 6 books".

Even this undersells the sheer unbridled weirdness of Captain Britain's adventures. He's up there with Doom Patrol in terms of providing that special flavor of madness only British Invasion comics creators have ever really provided.

That said, there is no way they'd let his show be that insane. God doesn't love me that much.

Maybe Ewan Mcgregor?

I can dig it.

And his superpower is whatever he believes he can do.

But his wife can beat up The Juggernaut and Galactus

Do it and do it differently than the comic. He is a great character and as long as they keep to his better qualities, then he should be good.

i cant imagine anything more cringe worthy

What about Captain Midlands?

His brother can throw reality at people.

But... that misses the point.

It's gotta be that weird form of British 70's culture mixed with King Arthur or it shouldn't exist.

Kinda crazy they can use Captain Britain and not the rest of Excalibur (he's in Lego Avengers too). My Excalibur fangirl sister will go nuts with excitement!

Doctor Who crossover like the comics would be swell.

Excalibur was an X-Book. Braddock was created for Marvel UK so he's technically not an X-Character

No more ABC shit please. If its not Netflix, don't bother.

Marvel, please cast Matt Smith and Richard Madden as Brian and Jamie (not necessarily in that order).

tbf, imagine The Fury on TV or any of Moore's Captain Britain stuff showing up. Too good to be true.

Weird question that just popped up due to Kitty's early on involvement of Excalibur;

Who owns the rights to Lockheed? And Warlock? I'm assuming since 'lock was in X-Babies, he'd be FOX, but he's a cosmic character.

This is absolute nonsense. It's nothing.

Ciara McAvoy (or whatever the fuck her name is) is an absolute crackpot of the highest order and has been for years. I know someone who had so much trouble with her in the past that they had to resort to 'legal means' to deal with her.

I cannot say anymore.

I hate talking X history, makes me mad at how garbage the movies are

Yup

Comics made me tear up. Movies haven't done that. But I'm optimistic, so I can only hope.

Good lord. It makes more sense than ever why I disagree with y'all on this franchise lol. That was corny as hell. Cape comics can rarely ever get me emotional. Like ever.

That panel was cheesy imo. We are at an impasse on the xmen movies forever it seems haha.

Maybe I should read some Claremont stuff tho considering they've taken loose adaptations of his story lines and I've only really read Morrison and watched the cartoon aside from the films

...nah screw it. There's too much other stuff on my list.

So is the pilot going to be 60 minutes of him sipping on tea and queuing in a bank, wilst politely holding the door open for elderly women?

Don't hate, I'm British
