what we're really waiting for

It's Marvel, not Sony Pictures. You are fine.

Can't remember a single instance where Marvel showed off too much about their movies (heck even the dozens of Avengers clips didn't really spoil a lot of the overarching plot).

Sony Pictures on the other hand...
Iron Man 2 briefcase suit

Iron Man 2. Literally every money shot was spoiled. They couldn't even save the briefcase armor for the theater. Jackasses.

Think of every stereotypical hype-train, nerdgasm type response, wrap that up in a Cheshire-Cat grin and that's pretty much what that trailer did to me.

I still break into Giggles when you know who opens his eyes at the end.

so damn good.

Assumed it was Hawkeye doing his "arrows between the fingers" thing when fighting up close. He does it in the comics a bunch. Think you see it in the earlier trailers too, just a close up of it now.

It's Hawkguy, brighten the image up and you see his bow.

Looks like a bow string at the bottom so it's probably Hawkeye gearing up.

Arrows

You can see the string of the bow below

Thanks all. Missed the string at the bottom.

Question;
Is a demise of QS possibly the reason why we see Wanda alone fighting the clones along with the rest of the team?

If I'm not mistaken, I think Hawkeye was the only Avenger who didn't get a single line in any AoE trailer.

Poor Clint. I hope I'm just mistaken.

Either that or he's running around outside the frame because there's like a hundred Avengers and you can't fit them all on camera at once.

Holy shit, someone just pointed out to me that there's a reference to this:

That is fucking awesome...Whedon delivering fan service like no other

They aren't mutants anymore, neither here or in the comics.

In the MCU
they're experiments via the Mind Stone, courtesy of HYDRA.
In the comics
they're experiments courtesy of the High Evolutionary.

Have the words "Mind Stone" been spoken once in any of the films? Has there been any confirmation whatsoever that Loki's staff from Avengers contains one of the Infinity Stones (and that Thanos gave one of them away for some reason)?

Nah. He's too fast for the camera to catch him.

Just imagine in Infinity Wars .........

Yeah I mean that shot with Cap's broken shield, I assume, comes after they are fighting those swarms.

i thought i read somewhere that broken cap shield is just
foreshadowing for thanos by a scarlet witch prophecy/mindfuck-thingy

might just have been speculation tho.

Trailer actually makes me look forward to watching this in theaters, it looks pretty fun

Kinda wish they went with DOFP style quicksilver in here though. That kind of speed looks better than what Whedon is doing here and avengers interaction with a sort of humorous nuisance character would have been hilarious

Hopefully they watched the raid series before they decided to give black widow dual batons, I want to see her put in work with them

It's the Scarlet Witch Hex Bolt finger pose, no? She's been doing that since way before she had any ties to magic at all.

I guess it's probably a nod to both, since it doesn't perfectly conform to either pose 100%.

But since her abilities are probably going to be more actual magic and less mutant powers (since Marvel Studios doesn't have those rights,) it's probably a more general magic finger-pose thing, I'd think.
