That's not really it, though. There's no weight or sense of speed to it at all. If there's supposed to be a change in speed, the change isn't drastic enough to carry it. If there isn't, Cap falls entirely too fast for the effect to be convincing. It is a tiny shot, yes, but it could be done better.
The problem is more with Cap than it is with Quicksilver, but they let Quicksilver move slower than he should when the "change" between his viewpoint and ours happens due to the turn into the wall just to show off the effect so we "get it", but we already "get it".
Poor Cap, though. All he wanted was a handshake.
