The best news here is that we're looking at full 50+ minute episodes like proper cable programming, instead of 40 minute network TV shit. 13 full episodes of that.. mmmm.
Be careful of the Murdock boys. They got the devil in them. #Daredevil
Isn't MCU Creel like, a decade too young for that to work? Assuming that flyer is meant to be twenty years or so old. Maybe his powers slowed his aging.

But still, cool to see some connections.
I think it's ambiguous enough for it to work. Creel in SHIELD didn't look THAT young but also not middle-aged or anything. Some suspension of disbelief is needed but hey, we can just say his powers make him nice and healthy.

They said he used to be a boxer.Either that, or it's his dad. I think it would be cool if he ages real slow though. Notice how they didn't explain anything at all about his origin on AoS.
They said he used to be a boxer.
This works if Creel was 17 or 18 and it was the fight Jack was supposed to throw but ends up winning. Matt would've been 12-14. No need for age shenanigans, just a thing boxer vs. an old one. It was Creel in the comics.

I forced myself to rewatch the 2003 Daredevil last night. They do some things right, like the general tone and all the Hell's Kitchen stuff. The over-reliance on shitty CG really kills any momentum though, and Affleck is just straight up terrible as Matt Murdock. You can tell he's trying really hard but that somehow makes the performance even worse for me. I feel like there was good movie in there somewhere that got buried under a monumental pile of shit.

It's odd that they would put that costume on the cover if he's not wearing it for the bulk of the season (unless I misunderstood). Bit of a blah cover that way. I understand Marvel wouldn't want to reveal it on this magazine's cover, but I think they could've gone with just Murdock or a different pic of the costume in that case.

If this is based on Man Without Fear, then he should be wearing that one most of the time.
Heck, we might not get the actual costume until the very last scene.
I wonder when they'll kick up the marketing machine for this one. We got a trailer but nothing else since then.
Only 46 days left!
Extended trailer mid-March I'd guess. I don't think Netflix does a ton of marketing though. Web ads I'd think would hit around then. Theater ads are a solid bet. I don't think you'll see TV ads for it.Netflix will put it on its mailers and promote it heavily on its site.
Er, Netflix does air TV ads. They've run a couple Daredevil teasers during Agent Carter, and there was a House of Cards S3 promo just last night during the Oscars.
Have we come up with OT names yet?
I like this one.Daredevil [OT] Lawyer by day, Daredevil by Deknight
Yup, I stopped right there. Winner.I like this one.
I like this one.
Daredevil [OT] Can't see how awesome this show will be? Neither can he
Maybe his brother is the boxer? He took on the name after he passed?I think it's ambiguous enough for it to work. Creel in SHIELD didn't look THAT young but also not middle-aged or anything. Some suspension of disbelief is needed but hey, we can just say his powers make him nice and healthy.
