I think that is because he specifically made reference to Lou Ferigno's Hulk in a Regis interview back in the day. Something about Regis telling Hogan he is "bigger than The Hulk" and Hogan said "I'm the real Hulk, brother"

replacing iron man, and not even really replacing iron man at that (doom's doing that) just sets her up for obscurity once the TONY'S BACK push begins in a year or two

The symbol for iron is the male symbol and she's a maiden. So they combined both symbols to stand for her name.

That really depends on the reception the character gets and even then she could end up on a team or as a supporting character. Either way the character will be getting some time in to spotlight to build an audience.

Come to think of it, Iron Maiden was already used. On mobile so can't be arsed to post a pic, but Toni Stark went by Iron Maiden in the Marvel Mangaverse, whatever Earth designation that was.
