It seems retailers have started emailing all their customers who have preordered Bioware's Mass Effect.

Mass Effect has been delayed for a total of over 8 months now, but the latest delay seems like a strategic move, opposed to the previous delays which required more time for the games development.

This is THE best news ever! 360 needs system sellers in 2008 and its a good move that with Halo 3 and Bioshock in 2007, we have too human and mass effect in 2008

This game needs all the delays it can get... in my opinion, it would be better to release it in Summer 2008. That should be enough time to save the game.

A whole week, lol. 12/7 is perfect and misses the November craze. I thought this might happen. And actually like others have said this could be just for AU/EU.
