Seems like race to me, ie black chick going crazy her man talked to a white girl. Many black women are sensitive about that, whereas I seriously doubt they attacked a transgender chick for talking to their man. From that interview she looked passable so it's possible they didnt know

Or does the original video suggest otherwise? Can't get it to load

The same article you're quoting states that multiple employees were snickering at her so I don't see how that disproves what I said.

Iirc during the video there are shouts like "Its a guy in the girls bathroom!" im not sure who said it and i dont feel like watching it again.

You'd be wrong then. This was pointed out to me as well. I hadnt read it before though and was crucified for making such comments.

A transgender woman beaten at a Baltimore County McDonald's spoke out on Saturday, saying that the attack was "definitely a hate crime" and that she's been afraid to go out in public ever since.

"They said, 'That's a dude, that's a dude and she's in the female bathroom,' " said Chrissy Lee Polis, 22, who said she stopped at the Rosedale restaurant to use the restroom. "They spit in my face."

In all honesty, I think it was a combination of all things, race, transgender, jealousy, and of course being ghetto.

I'm pretty sure that quote shows how unhappy the owner is with the actions of the employees... but it's kinda hard to you know, to replace the whole freakin' staff. It's a warning, a disapproval, but the business still has to run.

In any case, and my point, this shows that interfering will not get you fired and people who think that need to know how ridiculous they are.

more like it shows that the owner is doing good PR by saying he'll "look into things" and firing the person who deserved it. and how does any of this back up the claim that interfering will not get you fired?

Because someone who didn't help got fired and the only negative comment (which can be interpreted as a threat) that has been released is targeted to the ones who also didn't help? Do I have to tell you what 1+1 is as well?

I think the rule of thumb is to avoid using more physical force than is necessary to protect yourself. You should be able to defend yourself against the average woman with shoves and open hand blows. But if someone like Laila Ali is coming down full force on you that might not cut it.

Tactically, the physical attributes and how they are brought to bear are more important than the gender.

One of the bigger issues I have with the video is that when it comes to the crunch, the guy filming is more concerned for the attackers than the victim. He ushers them to leave before the cops come.

I'm glad he was fired but I think he needs accessory charges.

Id guess he was familiar with the two girls, or he's a pussy and didn't aid Chrissy to not have to deal with their bullshit. My heart goes out to women who aren't fighters and have to deal with sub-humans like these. Uuuhh this shit really pisses me off.

How can you not understand why people who have struggled with their gender identity their entire life might be a bit touchy when a poster, as an example, uses a male pronoun to describe a MTF person?

i do understand that, but the thing is that people get banned before they get told why they did wrong,you get the "wtf?" and "lol your so banned" replies => banhammer - at least that is how i see it. but i dont want to go there nor is it ontopic.

I assume it happens all the time, regardless of race.

Digging up details and sensationalizing headlines is what brings in ratings/readers.

Look at news headlines in the GAF OT for examples. A lot of them have a sensational headline, people only read the headline and then get upset and go off before the people who actually read the full story, explain the context.

when there's a fight and cops have identities they run background checks on everyone involved

its like standard procedure

In the few videos of fights I've seen recently, there's a very disturbing trend of people stomping on and kicking people in the head.

You'd hope that this warrants more than standard assault charges and gets classified as a hate crime.

I will try and convey why I think this is bullshit. This girl is going about her business, living her life, all of a sudden she's attacked violently, outed as transgendered, and has old charges brought up in the media. It's wrong. She will a hell of a time at a normal life now, and she has done nothing wrong.

Do we know the seizure was for real? The same source that originally claimed she was a transsexual also stated that she was faking the seizure.

Hold on just a second, how can you come into here saying that she was "going about her business, living her life" and the just attacked? How do you know that she wasn't egging this shit on, or maybe she fucking started it in the first place. All that I saw on the video was a beat down, not a cause.
