Just the opposite, Filet-o-fish is one of the "healthiest" things you can get there.

I mean, it's fried processed fish, but it's relatively low in calories compared to their other stuff.

Oh okay. Dunno why, but I thought it was fairly unhealthy, it being fried and smothered in their mayo-based sauce. Or is it tartar?havent had one (or McD's) in a while.

I do enjoy a nice filet o fish now and then. It's weird how their cheap-looking fish sandwich tastes better than the spruced-up fish sammiches of other chains.

Fish McBites! by Gary Whitta.
The plot twist is that its made of chicken.

Oh and shareable? The marketing team went balls out with that one.

My entire kitchen is based off the McDonald's philosophy... Which is make a shit load of different meals with the same ingredients.

When I was in Georgia for Spring Break I saw the double advertised, but didn't eat it because there were far more unique things to eat down there.. but I want one

FFFUUU. Can you order it that way or is that a mod?

It is a real menu item. They usually advertise the hell out of it during one of those jewish or catholic holidays(passover? Lent? ) But you can always order a double fish filet even if it isnt on the menu.

ugh, I had the CHicken McBites on saturday night, it was one of the most depressing meals I ever had. Felt like I was too poor to afford the regular nuggets.

The Chicken McBites are not good, original nuggs are far superior. I may feel the same way about the fish bites vs. fish filet. Only one way to find out!

Agreed about the McBites v. McNuggets, but I bet the McBites stick around either way as an addition to salads.

Speaking of McDonald's fish, why do their Filet-0-fish sandwiches ALWAYS have a perfect, perfectly smooth bun?

A curious point. I also find interesting that McDonald's seems to be one of the few fast food chains that understands the need of a good bun. Sure, their burgers are not that great (although I do enjoy them), but those buns easily add a couple of points.
