Folded Eggs:
Our folded eggs, like the ones on a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit, are made with liquid eggs that are precooked and folded before being flash frozen by our suppliers. Once in our kitchens, theyre prepared on the grill with margarine.
Sausage Burrito Eggs:
Our suppliers precook liquid eggs with ingredients that include sausage, tomatoes, green chilis, onions and seasonings, before flash freezing them to help maintain their taste.

Please explain how that is worse. Because it isn't. It's actually helpful.Hey you know what's worse than McDonals, people aggressively mentioning that their food is processed garbage like they just got out of a fucking nutrition seminar
I love McDonald's. Their food is so good. When I was younger, me, my mom and my sister used to travel to Hamar where they have a cinema, and before the movie we always ate at McDonald's. I always ordered a Happy Meal, and I got a cool toy and stuff. Now I'm older, and I order a Big Mac. I wish I could eat at McDonald's every day. I would use order through the drive-through and buy like three Big Macs and two large fries. Maybe some cheeseburgers too. Then I would sit in the car all alone and eat my food. I love McDonald's! Also, I love those small bags of salt.
There are some sad posts in this thread.I love McD's and the one down the street from my house always has great food. I can count the number of times I haven't had fresh fries on one hand and I've been there dozens of times. They could plaster goatse and tubgirl all over their packaging and I'd still go there if everything still tasted good.
Who started the flat trend? I only started to notice it with Microsoft.
You really need to expand your horizons if you really think that McDonald's food tastes good. It's ok I guess but I've never understood who branding is meant for. Do people really see new colors and words on the package and suddenly start eating there?

This is not some new trend.

If you exclude Taco Bell, Wendy's, BK, I'd wager most other fast food places have pretty uncluttered menus relative to McDonald's.
Yet McDonald's serves hundreds of millions more people than any of those places do. You think they can survive without offering a variety of products and options to their billions of customers? If you exclude Taco Bell, Wendy's, BK, I'd wager most other fast food places have pretty uncluttered menus relative to McDonald's.
You might protest and say well, that's pretty much most of them if you exclude them all.
But I offer that if McDonald's wants to really change the game and break out from their competition, they need to be more daring and simplify their menu even more. They need more to redefine the brand than just changing the marketing and look of their packaging.
Chipotle, for example:
a new focus on being more responsive in social media
Same, loves big Mac and fries. Always gives me the shits though...Yeah, they're not exactly gourmet but UK McDonald's has always served me well.
If im hungry and there's one about (which there usually is), then I'll grab something.

They can try and spruce up the packaging all they want.
Its what inside that matters.
doo-doo-doot-doot-doooo, it's edible!
Having this for a job seems like it'd be a fast track to suicide watch.
I just checked for In-&-Out and they don't even have things like ice-cream or coffee. Are we complaining about too many products or bad menu design?
Oh yes, this is a better defence haha. Covering my tracks.
My horizons are fine and you know nothing of them. Lots of stuff tastes good to me and one of them just happens to be McDonald's. I put their food into my mouth and am pleased with the experience. I'm not going to disregard good tasting food just because it's cheap. You really need to expand your horizons if you really think that McDonald's food tastes good.
I think they probably want to take a page from Yum brands. People are pretty active on the Taco Bell and Pizza Hut twitter and facebook pages, relatively young people I might add. And not in a negative way, actually posting stuff like "had a good pizza" and Pizza Hut responds to them and it helps with their brand. People actually beg these companies to follow them and they actually do

Aren't...their eggs frozen patties?

It costs something like $8-9 for a McDonald's meal in Canada. Why wouldn't I just get real food at that pricing?
Even their coupons are trash now. Buy one get one coupon requires you to purchase medium fries which again makes me ask why I would eat that shit over a real meal for nearly the same price.
The eggs are cracked fresh dudes. That plastic, rubbery texture you might have experienced is due to them being cooked in advance and kept in the warming bin for too long.
The round eggs are fresh cracked. The folded ones not so much.
