LOLLooks like the game needed a few more months in the oven.
I'll probably buy it if it's under £10 in a future Steam sale.

Careful, you might get a tag in regards to how much you hate this game. ^_^Jesus christ, the design on the MP maps is terrible. I've just quit a game where we were being spawn camped, the map refused to let us spawn anywhere else.
This game is a disgrace and should not have existed.
If the Spec Ops license could be dragged back from a $10 budget garbage 1/10 game on the PS1 to what Spec Ops: The Line is, I definitely feel like the Medal of Honor franchise can recover from this.
Maybe it takes another developer, though. It has to get away from just trying to be a Call of Duty clone, don't do that. We have enough of that, why try to be an also-ran? Do something interesting.
How so? Why do you think anyone would like a game that is this bad?

This game is really fun in multiplayer. I have no idea how it's reviewing so bad...the single player? It seems like a lot of people are just piling on based on review scores and not actually playing the game. This is what I feared with it - because it's really, really fun in MP...and if it doesn't last long that will be a major bummer. It has kind of a BF3/MAG vibe...with maybe a dash of Ghost Recon or SOCOM...
If you're a BF3 Premium person on PC - pick it up. Only $30. It's great. Graphics are great, too!
wow. this seems like a viral post to actually buy the game. regardless, I had an optimistic view for MOH:W, however, just like all EA games, I'll either get them for free in the future since they make so much copies, or I'll get them for dirt cheap.
no sale.
Boom so long danger close.
Rip moh
Fuck EA
Professional games press hates the game more than I do. That must be something, I guess.

The creators of BF3 made a bad game?
Who would have thought. -__-
review said:But then throughout Warfighter feels like its been designed by an accountant or marketing executive, not a developer. Its so lacking in personality and ambition that after completing the mercifully short five hour campaign we were filled with pity more than revulsion.
review said:Generic, unambitious, and painfully predictable at every turn. (More than) half broken AI and constant graphical glitches. Nauseating attitude to the U.S. military.

I'm going to Redbox this or Dishonored, which one?

This game is probably awesome. Can't wait for this weekend when I can play. :merka

I thought Dishonored sucked. I wish I could get a refund on Steam. I love the MP in MoH: Warfighter. If you want an MP FPS...the choice is clear.

The campaign was terrible, despite looking nice. Reviewers actually mentioned it wasn't any good then handed over a 9 based on previous Dice multi-player.
I'd love so much if these sudden higher standards with Resident Evil 6, and this game's scores was the start of a trend with game critics. If shooter development has become "copy CoD4 and Uncharted 2 and hope for 90+ metacritic bonus," these games scoring in the 4-6 range can only be a good thing.
DICE = BF3
Danger Close = MOW 2010 singleplayer and Warfighter SP and MP.
Damn, thought Dice made MOH.
My bad =D
I dunno. You kinda need some reviews by people who are not offended by linear military shooters on principle. As in, is this a good linear military shooter, if you like that sort of thing?
And wait for Blops 2 to get 8s and 9s from the same people who gave this a 5 or a 4. Hey presto.

I dislike Call of Duty for the lame narratives, but at least the gameplay isn't nearlly broken in the same way as MoH.Differing levels of polish within the same sub-genre??

The problem with reviews, though, is that it all tends to snowball (or mudslide). Not saying anything about the quality of this game, maybe these are all wholly heartfelt scores, but when it's this homogenous it's hard to really believe that it's SO evenly mediocre. Unless of course all critics are cut from the same tree, but that's even harder to believe.
