lol - i predicted we'd get a bunch of "DS party over" messages when the PSP overtook this week.

I'm surprised (if true) that the DS number is that big - you simply CAN'T find any DS's anywhere.

The reason the DS is down is because finding one is pretty damned hard. No such issue for the PSP.

A normal serice will be resumed next week when the new stock of DS comes in and the people picking up PSPs with their new years money stops!

I don't know abut the 132K PSP number, though. Wouldn't that be an increase in a week when hardware sales should go down?

Bloody hell, I'd say Nintendogs finally passed the 1m mark as well. Nuts. Also seems like Brain Training 2 is flying out the gates kind of like Halo 2, might even overtake it's predecessor and pass 2m.

The DS domination will continue (unless something extremely rare happen) this and next 2 years or so, what's going to do Nintendo with his plans of releasing a GameBoy to compete with PSP in the traditional Handhelds market?

Will they hold it's release more time than expected?

I don't think that a competition NDS - GameBoyNext could be good for Nintendo, the future GameBoyNext should be more expensive than the DS, it could be buried by his brother machine, what do you think? Maybe a US-EUR release-only for GameboyNext? :lol
