Tried really hard to hate Microsoft. 
Would have been funnier if they actually used the Kinect 2 instead of Kinect 1

Regardless, for a parody video, it was okay I guess. Liked the "Did You Know?" pop ups. "Use it as a dog poop scope! (Did You Know this requires Xbox Live Gold?)" lol.

It's not.
Kinect 1 had awful build quality, mine broke when it accidently slipped from my TV and hit the counter.It also felt extremely cheap.

Yeah no. I work in tech support. It is by far the most confusing Windows OS out there. Even for people who are decent at operating a computer.

I have been using Windows on PCs forever. Windows 8 is a fucking mess.

I had to fix something for my mom (because I'm "that guy" in our household) who has the only Windows 8 machine in the house and finding the control panel was a fucking nightmare. I need to replace the laptop I currently use when I'm not on my desktop for stuff and I'm going to put Windows 7 on it as fast as I can.

It really is awful. I've gone from Windows 7 to OSX to Windows 8.1 over the past few years, and 8.1 is by far the worst. I could see how it'd be okay for a tablet, though.

The video was on GT for a long time but it's new on their YT channel, but ok. Anyway, their kinect videos are really well thought and funny. That part about Windows 8 was great too. haha

They added the image of a start button, but clicking it still takes you to Metro.
Perhaps you shouldn't be "that guy".

Yeah, pretty trollish. They should just give desktop people what they want. I just don't like the metro boxes.

Someday I'll figure out what's so confusing about a reskinned start menu, but whatever, not the point.
I feel like the video just tried a little too hard. The quips on the side were pretty funny though.

Do people really have that much trouble with Win8? I got used to it after a day of messing around with it. The right side of the screen is where you find EVERYTHING on the computer. After I found that out, it was a smooth ride. I don't really use the metro even though its supposed to be a big feature of the OS.
Regardless, I didn't find this video all that funny. After all the destroy (insert console) videos I've seen, they usually start to dry out in humor.

Right? This sidebar is the reason I thought the only real way to programs was to use Search to find the program you want.
Kinda bs. They actually deleted all the program icons from the start menu to try and make it look bad.

Yeah. No. Win8 is awful and 8.1's "start" isn't a true start. When you still have to use Start8 or Classic Shell after an update promises to bring back a feature people used said Start8 to bring back... you're doing something wrong.
The skit was actually made pre-xbox one launch. Until now it was just a gametrailers.com exclusive
