Windows 8 sucks. Classic Shell makes it tolerable, but ultimately indistinguishable from Windows 7 aside from a few additions to the task manager & file transfer dialogue which, while nice, hardly necessitate a whole new version of Windows. Not to mention that annoying side bar menu tends to pop up when I'd rather it just fuck off.

Do people really have that much trouble with Win8? I got used to it after a day of messing around with it. The right side of the screen is where you find EVERYTHING on the computer. After I found that out, it was a smooth ride. I don't really use the metro even though its supposed to be a big feature of the OS.

Regardless, I didn't find this video all that funny. After all the destroy (insert console) videos I've seen, they usually start to dry out in humor.

The "After I found that" part is exactly the problem.

Most people just want a machine that does what they need, they don't want to have to spend a day relearning and discovering new "ah ha" features -- especially when that new functionality does nothing to enhance the experience.

Regardless, for a parody video, it was okay I guess. Liked the "Did You Know?" pop ups. "Use it as a dog poop scope! (Did You Know this requires Xbox Live Gold?)" lol.

This is actually from gametrailers and it released before the Xbox One was out dude.

edit: and yeah, windows 8.1 can even be pretty confusing for new users

The Kinect is totally pointless and useless to me. I'd much rather just have a $400 Xbox One.

Yeah, agreed. I hear you can sell the XBO Kinect for a pretty high price on eBay and the like. Hell, just browsing around I found one going for ~$80 with a few bids on it. Seems like a good option to me.
