Men, did you ever have earrings?

I used to have my right ear pierced and also my eyebrow about 5 years ago. I stopped that shit because of how ridiculous I think a dude looks with one, and also because the one on my eyebrow was a pain to keep clean.

What about you GAF? Did you ever rock dem earrings ala Justin Bieber?
 
I had my ears pierced either an an infant or when I was very young. Early in my life I had earrings. I was never fond of it so maybe around 7 or 8 years old I stopped wearing them and haven't done so since.
 
I used to work with a dude that had pierced ears. He had these weird spindly fingers where they seemed to extend way past the ends of his fingernails and had no definition in the knuckle at all. Like long narrow hot dogs. And he'd rip these really horrendous farts, I honestly felt like he'd probably better go to the doctor. So no way.
 
Never. I've never seen a man with any sort of ear piercing and thought it looked good. Add to that the fact it costs money and probably hurts, and it's something I'd never even consider.
 
Never understood the desire to get pierced or tattooed, so no.

I clipped a paperclip around my earlobe once when I was really bored though.
 
Nope. My uncle did for a while in the early to mid 90's and I always thought he looked ridiculous. Some guys can pull it off but most can't.
 
Don't think that fashion trend ever came near where I live. Didn't see a single guy with an earring in elementary or high school.

Lol. I'm happy to say no. I wanted one like mad when I was 10.
 
Back in my day if you had an earring on one side is was "cool" and if you had it on the other side it meant you enjoyed dicks. I always dismissed them. It's not for me.
 
Pierced my own ear in two places back in the 90s. Only wore rings for a few years, but I do think they look fine on men.
 
The left ear is the gay ear I think.

I want to have two earings on my left ear, 3 on my right and one on my nose to symbolize asexuality with a stronger preference for asians of either sex.

3 on left, 3 on right, 1 on left eyebrows means you enjoy black guys with black chics.

I make the rules as I go along
 
yeah i had my ears pierced and I'd wear some dangly cross earrings that were sexy as fuck but then i forgot about them and let them close up. I pierced them myself without even looking in the mirror and I think I fucked them up anyway, so repiercing is probably a good thing.

Actually after I get them repeirsed I think i'll start wearing only 1 earring on the "gay" ear or whatever you guys are talking about.
 
I had plugs for about a year but then I got sick of how they looked and took them out. Never going to get them pierced again.
 
One in the right, two in the left.

I still rock 'em from time to time and I still see men wearing them all the time.

Also OP, where I come from (southern California) only having one in the right ear (without any in the left) means/meant you're gay. Not sure if that was the flag you were trying to fly but if so, then good on 'ya.
 
Nope, never had my ears pierced.

However, I do have a mole on my ear in just about the place you would have it pierced, I had no end of people at school ask me if I had my ear pierced because of that mole.
 
Back in the late 90's I wore gold hoops with diamonds in both ears like these:

I ended up losing one of them so I don't wear any earrings anymore.

Yep ,i still do. Got them all in HS funny enough and they never closed up even when I didn't have anything in them
 
I had pierced ears for a few years, was going up in gauge sizes too, until I said fuck it. I doubt I could tolerate them for more than a few seconds these days anyways.
 
Yup, I have two in each ear on the lobe, where a tight wide hoop in the lower holes and small round balls on posts in the higher ones Both bright silver.

No one bats an eye when they see them, and I like the way I look with them in. :shrug:
 
I used to, I had piercings in both ears and started gauging around age 17 (27 now). I continued to gauge up to 2 until about 23, but stopped because they kept falling out in my sleep and never finding them. I got tired of spending money on them every 2 or 3 months, also they smelled to high heaven so that was always gross. Besides that, I knew eventually I would have to stop gauging as I wouldn't want to be judged when it came to getting a job. It was easier to just stop wearing them all together.
 
I wanted one during middle school. My parents said no. Probably one of the better parenting decisions they've done while raising me.
 
My parents pierced my ears before I was 1 and I've never forgiven them for destroying my autonomy.

In all seriousness, no. I considered it back during my teen years but never took the plunge. I do have a perfectly placed freckel where my ear would be pierced so I have been mistaken for having one.
 
My official high school graduation party or whatever those things are called had free piercings so I got one in the left ear. Kept it through college but my wife made me remove it for wedding pictures. Then she told me to not put it back in because it wasn't very professional looking for my job.

I'm whipped.
