Oh my God. That was great. In fact, Men in Black 2 was great in general. Screw the haters! :lol

Oh, and there wasn't a source next to it so I don't know how reliable it is, but on Wikipedia it also says this:

"In 2005, Variety magazine mentioned that Sony Pictures was in talks with director Michael Bay to direct Men In Black III."

Thank God that never amounted to anything...

Already? I have a feeling the craze has just begun. That said, I'll take clear HD over fuzzy 3D any day of the week.

I still haven't seen Avatar. I refuse to wear the stupid glasses.

Anyway, I hope the movie is similiar in style of MiB.

P.S. For some reason, I always thought Tim Burton directed MiB. =\

Joblo had an access to the script and has a consirably spoilerific review of it

Basic ideas : "Yaz, described as a nightmare biker who looks like Dennis Hopper and Satan." do some time travel to kill the "boy who gave flowers to the aliens" ...and Warhol/Apple references

...sounds fun, and specialy, sounds nothing like any episode of the mib cartoon xD

MIB was awesome, and I remember when I saw it with my dad, I said that it had such amazing potential to become a series. Then they made the cartoon, and it totally rocked hard (DVD release PLEASE!) so that was my Ghostbusters -> Ghostbustrers Animated trade for the 90s. Then they made MIIB... and I was so, so let down.

I really hope MIIIB is good.

Good, I hope he pens another hot track for this movie. Could go for some of Will Smith's nice clean rap.
Ill take clean songs likes summertime and brand new funk over most of the rap released today

Excellent news and MIBII was an awesome movie just not classic like the first one

MIBII was an awful,awful movie.

Lets hope they rectify that with this third part.

Doubt it. No one gives a fuck with Will Smith these days. You got Will Smith, you got a profit. Why try with everything else? Apart from The Pursuit of Happyness his movies in the past 12 years have been shit to decent. That's about it. No stand out movies.

Let me guess. Will Smith wants his son to star in the movie.

Will is always worth watching my main problem with MIBII was TLJ who looked like he'd rather be anywhere else but on the set of that movie.

MIIB was consciously unaware of everything that was interesting design-wise about the first i'm shocked it was the same director. The outdated vintage Ford sedan with "mysterious red button", the scope of the architecture and classic, iconic alien scenarios (spaceship in a hick country) made the first film for me. All of this was replaced with boring, bland visual design choices that cared more about integrating brands, modern vehicles and a rehashed plot than it did about taking it some place new.

I've got a bad feeling they didn't really learn from the mistakes they made with MIIB, and this will be the exact same.

can't wait to see another plethora of incredibly non-funny name calling of celebrities being aliens and some stab at BP, plus Will Smith coining new out of date smithisms as "Are you crazy, K? He just went Ohbammamia on his ass!"
