Men shaving armpit hair - yes or no?

Also differs per country, in Germany practically everyone does it. o.o

I found that pretty much every German olympian I saw doing gymnastics had shaved armpits. I had to resist the urge to root for them just because of this.

I do it. I don't see why I wouldn't, honestly. It makes me less sweaty, less smelly, and more comfortable. And I never experience any prickliness or itching like some people are attesting. Means I can raise my arms and not give people a disgusting sight. I'm bettering humanity, here.

im super hairy so i run my body groom over my entire body from the neck down. everything gets shaved exept the arms/legs which get the shortest clipper setting.

Okay, I just had the weirdest goddamn urge. I wanted so badly to post "Uhh... Guys are supposed to have hair on their armpits? Really? Like, how much?" Wait for someone to respond with a pic. Then post all freaked out, "Holy shit! I'm googling it now. That's a lot of hair! They've got hair all over! What the hell, I am hairless?!" Then wait a while and post "Guys, I'm scared. I have no hair anywhere. My skin feels all rubbery and wet, what do I do? What's happening?!"

And then just post the following:
"ARF! ARK ARF! ARF ARRRF!

"

Then come back later with a seal avatar and post:
"ARF ARF ARF! HSSS! ARF!

Jesus Christ. I get weird when I get tired. I'm going to bed.
You should have done it. Hahaha.

I don't, but I also have a hairy chest and don't mess with it either. Not really sure if I should or not.

Shaving makes sweat more noticeable, so if you sweat a lot, don't shave. I am a living conclusion to this. If you do shave your pits and you sweat a lot, stop, and please... don't shave your ass. I'm warning you.

Just so you know, when you WEREN'T shaving, all that same sweat was being trapped by the hair. It wasn't going away.

Very weird for man to shave his armpit air, or legs etc.

All these hairless men ...... You are supposed to have body hair, your a man.

Sweat make bare skin sticky so if you don't have issues keeping dry then do what you want, otherwise you want to keep at least a little. It may also depend on how sensitive your skin is. Even if your face is usually fine elsewhere might end up as scorched earth for a good while.

If men can regularly shave off the most noticable male-specific hair, then why not hair that's more personal.

I love having sex where our skin is directly in contact and there is no odd hair movement that is like a grind against the nerves. Oh man, it's going without a condom over the entire body.

But I guess if you feel that hair makes you manly then whatever, enjoy the grease sex.

I don't do it. I find it to be entirely unnecessary.

Applying deodorant isn't a big deal to me. I use a type that doesn't have too strong of a smell, either. So I remain fresh for up to two days without re-applying and don't smell of deodorant all the time; some people apply to much and use something with too strong a scent so that it leaks through clothing and whatnot.

You have strange issues with hair.

Grease sex? ...... just wash before you fuck and after if sweat is such an issue.

Perhaps you should see a doctor for hyperhidrosis?

Note that I used to suffer from this too until I lost some weight, so I know the feeling of feeling sweaty all the time.

I actually tried a Rx antiperspirant without hair and got better results with hair. However, I am just sweaty person (not overweight either). On a side note, it all started after I stopped smoking but it hasn't gone away over the years, can't quite figure that out. The plus side for me, my sweat doesn't cause much of a stench, where if it did, I think shaving would be the lesser of two evils.

Volume = hair good
stench = hair bad

I trim it. It looks ugly if I don't because it's not very thick and can get very long

Then there's my genital area. It's like a freaking jungle when I didn't trim it. Damn, why don't my pubes stay short like my eyebrows?!
