Merge 2 games to create your dream game

Monster Hunter + Dark Chronicle

(Building a village that timeskips into the future and breeding gigantic monsters to kill them for their bones to get building materials.)
Yes, i have strange dreams.

Lethal Skies + Armored Core

From Lethal Skies: Basic gameplay mechanics (so a flight combat game with "more realistic than Ace Combat but not that realistic" flight model and weapon ordonance), ability to customize missile loadouts for each engagement

From Armored Core: Same style of progression where you can pick and choose what missions to do, ability to customise plane appearances and part (gun, countermeasures... etc). Money being deducted on damage and weapon expenditure.

1) Dark souls X Armored Core

Dark souls with customizable robots, and a multiplayer mode that plays like armored core VS matches.

2) Smash Bros X Hyrule Warriors

Hyrule Warriors is pretty great, but imagine if they made one that has all different characters from Nintendo franchises... Can even give screen time to lesser known characters.

3) Smash Bros X Mario Kart

They toyed with this idea with F-Zero and Zelda in dlc, feel like it's inevitable.

Easy, The Witcher 3 plus any of the Souls games/Bloodborne.

All the Witcher 3 needed to be GOAT was better combat.

Power Stone 1 + Power Stone 2 = Power Stone 3. It's simple mathematics, of course. But seriously I want my third game dammit.

Or

PASBR x Power Stone. That works too.

Pro evolution soccer + football manager
All licenses, all players, all teams, deep management simulation and gameplay.
I've been dreaming of something like that since sensible world of soccer And player manager from the Amiga days.

Baldur's Gate 2

mixed with Final Fantasy's setting and job system.

IAWTP. I miss Power Stone. I would love to see Capcom use the overall model and make it into a Capcom All-Stars type game. Tons of characters to choose from that could be really fun in a Power Stone-y format.

Saints Row 2/3 + Love Live! School Idol Festival.
Just ignore the caption.
Take on Tokyo as a newly reunited µ's to fund their musical comeback by becoming the top criminals in Japan.
Engage in ludicrous minigames and unscripted, non-linear missions, switching between 9 badass Idol Gangstas.
Partake in concerts with UR recruited homies to further your gang/idol group's popularity and power.

No microtransaction BS required.

Resident Evil + Grand Theft Auto

Open world zombie outbreak in a densely populated metropolitan city. Yes please.

I remember such an exact game in development at one time when I saw previews of it in Game Informer. Too bad it got axed. Does anyone remember the name?

Not exactly my "dream" game but

Mirror's Edge and GTA, and next month it might just work out!

Im really hoping that Catalyst manages to do the open-world part in a cool and satisfying way.

Fantasy World Dizzy + Pandemonium = 3D Dizzy Puzzle Platformer Gamer.

Seriously Codemasters - Let The Oliver Twins do this already!

The tension and maps of Star Fox 2 with the detail of Star Citizen with the tight skill oriented level designs of Star Fox 64 and Zero.

Donkey Kong and Dark Souls

Lol, too meta for me man...unless you're that thread's OP.

Anyways, my vote goes for Dark Souls + Dead Space. The the combat/dismemberment mechanics of dead space with the level design, environmental design, and rpg design of dark souls would be the perfect storm.

Who is "Merge 2 Games" and how does it know my dream game?.

I picture it as an independent game store that looks like the shop from Needful Things. You get your dream game but there is a Faustian bargain like microtransactions just to add on the pause button. You want to save your progress? That's only available on one of the platforms as part of the marketing agreement.

Uncharted + Resident Evil.

Oh wait, they already made it. It was called The Last of Us and it was my dream game.

Art design / aesthetic (espeically character design and characters), story, music, lore, turn based gameplay and high fantasy element of Granblue Fantasy mixed with the scale/scope of Xenoblade Chronicles X and the exploration (including hidden caves and really cool foliage and that kind of thing from Xenoblade Chronicles X too. Both games offer great artistic experiences so I'd like to see both areas in check!) ... perfect game for me. :D

Additionally, I'd like to see a variety of areas too. More, different diverse locations. Xenoblade Chronicles X had what... 5 zones if you include Neo LA? I'd like to see like 15 or 20 (even if you have to cut down the size of the map of course).

A Vagrant Story remake, same story and dialogue, but with Dark Souls quality gameplay and environment design. Because Vagrant Story pretty much was a PS1 version of Dark Souls, with the most amazing NG+ system ever made.
