MERRY CHRISTMAS GAF!

Officially a Wii U owner W00T!

Also:
Bayonetta Wii U
The Wonderful 101
Smash Bros Wii U
Wii U Pro Controller

White Dualshock 4

Godzilla bluray
1 yr Playstation Plus
Shadow of Mordor PC
$50 Steam giftcard
$75 Amazon GC

500 gb HDD

And a American Giant Hoddie

Far Cry 4 on Xbox One.

Might buy a Wii U with Christmas money; though I am tempted to wait for another price drop before I get one as well.

I got a bunch off my GF:

Playstation TV
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Alien Isolation
LEGO Marvel Superheroes
Killer Instinct (retail)

January will be fairly full I think!

A friend gifted me Dishonored GOTY. Another.got me a Steam card (which I shamelessly found out when I opened the gift a week early) so I bought Metal Gear Rising and Killing Floor, and with the whole 7.92 CAD remaining
because after 6 days of the sales and only buying two items outside of a key in Buy/Sell I felt it was never going to be used and why not
I gave Bully: Scholarship Edition, Mark of the Ninja, and Marlow Briggs to SteamGAF.

Technically, the Xbone is a birthday present from 3 days ago, but who cares!

My wife bought me a PlayStation TV (so I can play upstairs and not in the mancave) and DA:I for PS4.

My Christmas present to myself should come in a few weeks. (20th Anniversary PS4)

Bayonetta 2 and Mario 3D Land because my wife is awesome! And not games exactly, but a SSD for the PC and a powerline adapter kit & network switch so I don't have to use crappy wireless on the consoles. Like I said, she's pretty awesome.

Wife got me a Wii U with NSMB. Kind of a historic gaming moment for me, as I've never owned a Nintendo console before, despite gaming for over 20 years. Love the Gamepad, menú music and the exclusives look like they'll provide some awesome experiences not found on Xbox One and PC. I'll definitely get a PS4 next year, now that I don't have to buy the Wii.

A Wii U Party Pack (Wiimote, Sensor Bar, Nintendo Land and Wii Party U)

Mario Kart 8

Luigi's Mansion 2

This Christmas has been overkill

Mario 3D Land and $20 for the E-shop. Gonna get another year of Pokébank, a couple more of the streetpass games, then the rest gets saved for the Mewtwo DLC for Sm4sh. I still have presents from my grandparents, but I'm not expecting games from them.

I also got my brothers Omega Ruby and Mortal Kombat.

A bunch of movies, mostly, as well as a few books. Got some gift cards and various kitchen tools. A pretty tame but overall enjoyable Christmas—family did good this year.

Also, playing Batman for the first time O_O so good

Nothing. As an adult I get boring stuff for Christmas like towels, bed sheets, cushions.... off my family (tbh I asked for these things so it's a good haul).

Exact same. I got a mini dehumidifier and a small portable carpet cleaner and I'm fucking stoked.

There's no games I want to buy currently anyways that i could justify the cost. If Far Cry 4 or Dragon Age were like 2-5 dollars maybe I'd consider it.

I never get game related items for Christmas as my wife hates them. I would rather get it myself anyway so I get clothes and the like....which is fine by me!

I got the Wii U :)
I also got:
Super Mario 3D World
Nintendoland
Mario Kart 8
Wind Waker HD
Bayonetta 2 and the Pro Controller

I only got myself gifts this year but....

PS4 20th Anniversary Edition (won't be here until Saturday).
Lords of the Fallen PS4
Knack (lol yep, playing this again, and I'm really enjoying it).
Freedom Wars
Tales of Hearts R
4K TV (got this technically during Black Friday, but was meant for Xmas).

So yeah, pretty much what I got for the overall holiday. My brother is sending me some stuff from Japan, and I'm not sure what that is yet.

Got an Xbox One AC Unity bundle, but my brilliant wife didn't get my hint and rebuy when it came with a $50 GC and a copy of Destiny a couple of days ago. On top of it, she put it on my charge, which is kinda like me buying it myself, which I would have already done if I wanted an Xbone.

I would have kept it if I got the GC + Destiny - at least I could go back and get SO or H:MCC for "free". But no way if I'm getting less than that, especially if I'm paying.

I have no interest in Unity and I just got AC IV Gold on a Steam sale, so I already have a better version of that game with all the DLC - better than what the bundle offers, at least content-wise.

And now I don't have to worry about which last gen console gets the boot to fit that tank in my entertainment center. My son was initially bummed because he wanted to play Minecraft but then he said, "we can just update the Xbox 360 version, it's the same thing." There's your value proposition right there.

Back to looking for CoD:AW cheap on PC, as it's not getting discounted on the Steam winter sale.

Bah humbug. beatyoutoit.gif

Edit: I did get KH 2.5 which I bought for me from the kids. They have good taste. And I got my son SSB for the Wii U, along with a complete set of first wave Amiibos, and Little Mac and Diddy from Wave 2. Also got my son Fantasy Life for the 3DS and Trap Team Dark Edition for the Wii U, along with a shit ton of Skylanders.

Just 3 long sleeve shirts that didn't fit me. Wish my family understood me. Lol Hoping for at least a gamestop card. Oh well. I guess there is always next year?

Holy crap my girlfriend won christmas, this was my haul:

*A fizzy plush (holy shit this is amaizing! I guess it was the only one she could find on the internet, she got it on ebay)

*An Xbox one dev team shirt

*The halo anniversary soundtrack

*Guilty crown pt. 2 (anime)

The one good or bad thing about having a full time job and no dependents is I can buy whatever I want throughout the year, but that means no surprise presents under the tree. :(

I bought myself the 20th Anniversary PS4. That's about it. Merry Christmas to me.

WiiU
Super Mario 3D World
Nintendo Land
Bayonetta 2
Wonderful 101
Hyrule Warriors
Super Smash Bros WiiU
Xenoblade Chronicles
$50 eshop card

Dang you got some good movies, and Black Hole is fantastic.

My mom bought me a 75$ GC at Gamestop.

With all these years with her being stubborn not to buy me anything gaming-related because she bought too much when I was younger, I was in shock! :D

The closest gaming related thing I got is a sound bar; I like buying my own gaming stuff and HATE buying practical things, so I got a bunch of useful stuff :)

Video game related things I got:

TLOU Remastered
Shadows of Mordor (PS4)
Captain Toad
NES Remix 1+2
Resident Evil Revelations (Wii U)
Persona 4 Golden
PS TV (already own a Vita, wanted this though)
$20 Steam
70$ PSN
70$ Nintendo Network
FF Type-0 and Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (PS4 for both) preordered
Mario and Pikachu Amiibos
Meta Knight Plushie
