we went with the BoboVR headset with a hot-swappable battery that's magnetic, then 2 of them on a base always charging you just swap it out without interruptionThe battery life on my quest is terrible.. I barley even use it lol... maybe its the 4k video streaming im doing
If you do VR a lot, it's worth it. You basically solve the power issue permanently without ever thinking about it again, just swap batteries without even taking headset off.

I might get the one with the built in fan
This is what I use as well. The fan is nice for cooling as well. I have their replacement face cover, not as sold on that one versus the stock fabric one.

I wonder if we really should have a "VR announcements" thread so that more people see all the news, which is a ton of great announcements. I fear that the "Meta Quest 3 OT" thread is something that people are going to gloss over and ignore in the thread list if they don't have this particular headset.

but a lot of the announcements here (it seems to me) are general VR announcements, a ton of Steam and cross-platform games, etc. So there would probably be better visibility for all VR enthusiasts if we had a single "vr game announcements" thread or something.

I had a general VR thread years ago and it wasn't getting any more attention than this, in the OP I had general VR info with the options for PC VR/Sony/Meta but I couldn't bother maintaining it/had some issues with moderation at some point if I recall, so I gave it up for a while until I got back on the saddle, however little good it does, since I still feel there are zero good VR media outlets and so many games never get a timely mention if they don't get to give vr showcase exclusivity etc., feel free to make one and I'll post there, here I do stick to Meta & PC as most PC VR use is via Meta hw.

Ninja Turtles looks neat, my son will love that. I wish they'd gone with a more detailed look like Batman instead of the simple cel-shaded environments, but still looks like a lot of fun. There need to be more story-driven superhero games, like Iron Man and Batman.
