Nope, there's no MGS3 TV commercial
It's sad when an average game like Killzone gets so damn much air time, and MGS3 gets none...Many a good game got delayed here because of the damn french law.
Best Buy in Canada doesn't have it, "but should have it in the next couple of days". Future Shop doesn't even have it in the database, and they have no idea when it's coming. EB said it was supposed to be out on friday but apparently got pushed to saturday. Damn.

Fuck it, we don't have a pre-release thread for the remake, I don't think these questions warrant a new one on their own and technically it's still 10 days until MGS3 drops so the pre-release hype is justified.
Is Fanatical a legit, non-gray-area site? They seem to have a nice deal on the game, especially with how overpriced the game seems to be in Europe (90 friggin EUR for the deluxe edition):

I bought the Digital Deluxe Edition a few weeks ago.
I do wish the remake took more freedom, instead of pretty much being 1:1, but still, beggars can't be choosers.

I'm kinda glad they're sticking as closely as possible for now. Have the new team make a brand new MGS game on their own first in order to prove they can tamper with the OG's dialogues, pacing and cutscene direction.
Don't want to see them pulling off an RE3 or bloat it with unnecessary filler like Silent Hill 2.

Standard Edition is priced at roughly the equivalent of US$65ish in Brazil on Steam. Too expensive for a 1:1 remake. If this were more in the vein of REmake with things being different, expanded and added; sure. But not for a 1:1 touch up. I'll get it at a discount later on...

I don't know about this site, but i also have it pre-ordered for 90€ from a Greek store.
Snake vs Monkey i think its only for PS5, Xbox will have Bomberman and i am not sure about PC.

I put my preorde for the Deluxe edition in Amazon UK because I couldn't find another, I placed it back in July 2024.
Thanks to this thread I went to check on it and it had some kind of issue as I couldn't check my order. I contacted support and they fixed, apparently I'm getting it on September 4th.

Awesome. I was obsessed with MGS3 back in the day. I sold my guitar to buy a ps2 and play this gow and shadow of the colossus. Those were the days. I remember going to a "Cyber Cafe" and watching the all the trailers in awe, with that Harry Gregson Williams song. Great soundtrack in the codec too. What a boomer post
