Well, it sucks the PS3 bundle won't come with the "real" edition of MGS4. Will that same 80GB PS3 be $500 without MGS? Maybe I could get two copies of MGS4 if buying the "MGS4 bundle" cost the same as buying the regular PS3 without MGS4.

That's a lot of money.

80GB PS3s (which included MotorStorm) have been discontinued for a few months now. They were $500 at the time.

The MGS4 bundle is still a great deal.

Until they tell us we've met allocation. There is no set one right now, but at some point, we'll be cut off. I don't know what that number is, they didn't say. You can preorder as many as you want though, and they'll send them.

these all work. As of the 40gb they are all even more super quiet and cooler (not that either was ever a problem)

I have a 60GB PS3. I have no concerns about it's reliability. I wouldn't mind a somewhat quieter system, though. Unlike the 360, where I wouldn't mind a lot quieter system.
