i was tempted to select Surface Ground for shipping..hahaha..
and see how long that would actually take..it will probably have to come by boat! :lol

Yeah I really wanted to get those also but the store in Namba was sold out when I went. Anyone know how long these are supposed to be available(particularly in japan)?
 
PHEW what a day. I went to just about every single Uniqlo in Kowloon, and almost all styles are SOLD OUT in everything but SMALL. About the only ones I can get now in other sizes are the ones with the big words - BIG BOSS or PEACE WALKER. Oh and the one with the colourful circles is still here and there.

We'll be emailing everyone who ordered with the news. Even though we have a note regarding stock on the site, everyone just keeps ordering the sold out ones! doh! :lol

Glad to hear everyone is starting to get their shirts. After dealing with an online store myself that has been stringing me along with excuses, I am proud that my wife is really good with taking care of customers.. I hope people remember our site when we start carrying import games again!
 
Got both of mine yesterday from SkinnyPup. XL is... a little snug. It's just an excuse to keep losing weight lol. Love the quality of the shirts though and thanks for getting them sent so quickly.

Picked up my two shirts from the post office yesterday, they're great!

You know there are like a hundred more Uniqlo shops in the area, not to mention you're going to what may be the busiest shop of them. Try a more remote one where stuff doesn't sell out so quickly.
 
Went to another 3 stores today, and bought out whatever they had in sizes L and XL.

They are pretty much sold out of everything except size S, and the less popular shirts (the ones with the bold lettering)

We'll be notifying people who are waiting for their first and second choices, and will be removing the ability to buy most shirts in anything but Small.

Looks like the run is over for now! There is no telling when or if they will restock. The only chance to get one now appears to be for one day during the NY and London events. Those will be gone in a day though in everything but small.

Congrats to everyone who got the shirt they wanted :D

I did actually. I tried one more around minami and even went to the one in shinimamiya(which is probably the quietest one I have ever seen) but both were also sold out. The shinimamiya one didn't have a single peace walker shirt.

Going to try another one sometime this weekend I suppose.
 
got my 3 shirts in the mail today!

although they didn't come in those cool little red containers?

no biggie though, the shirts are awesome!

Yeah they feel great, I received my shirts a few days ago and they are awesome!

I really dig the feel of the fabric, I haven't had a shirt like this before. I need to buy more uniqlo shirts for sure, certainly for that price.
 
Uniqlo shirts are great, I probably have at least a dozen of them. However they aren't all the same. These Peace Walker ones are much thinner than previous ones.. They are quite comfortable and loose-fitting. Perfect for summer.

My favourite Uniqlo shirt is this one:

It has a really cool texture, and is GREAT for the summer. It fits even looser than the PW shirts, it's the only Uniqlo shirt that I wear a large

Exactly! That's what I figured too - these PW ones feel different from the other UT shirts I have (my One Piece ones feel like my MGS4 and Mega Man shirts).

Still though, I'm actually glad that these shirts are a lot lighter than the other shirts, as wearing them in the summer won't feel as restricting as before. :)

i live almost next to that store, it's pretty ghetto!

the big one on shinsaibashi-suji had like 80% of the range a few days ago, i can say that much.
 
Okay, so I got sent an email saying it shipped, and that I could click a link to track it...but it does nothing. It asks me for a tracking number I never got. Any advice skinnypup?
 
I can't help you without knowing your real name ;)

Probably would be best to email us for your tracking #

Note that with airmail it's just a registration #, so there is not much point by point tracking.

Haha yea well that is the "dangerous" part of osaka according to every japanese person I know. :lol :lol

Yeah I will go this weekend and see if I can find the co-op one.
 
I was able to acquire the red Che Big Boss shirt elsewhere, so I opted for the COOP shirt as a replacement, which I have already replied to with the email.

The COOP shirt was the second shirt I was looking to get anyway, so it works out in the end! :D

it's not at all dangerous! those dudes are pretty friendly, they just want to chill with their ozeki sake and sleep when they run out.

I ordered M since that's usually my size, then I was a little bit concerned because J sizes tend to be smaller, but I am glad to report that the sizes are still OK, if anything they might be just a tad smaller compare to the Uniqlo t-shirts I bought in New York like a month ago but nothing really noticeable. So if you are concerned that you ordered your regular size and it might end up being too small for you, fear not for this is not the case.

I normally wear a Large (US) and I ordered a Large. It was way too small on me.

I usually wear a Large also and the Large one I got is a little small. Not too bad right now but if it shrinks anymore then I probably wont wear it.
 
For those wondering about the cans, I believe they're the 'premium' version of the shirts so they actually cost a little more than if you were buying the shirt itself.

I was wondering this also. I'm happy to report that I got my shirts on Saturday, but disappointed that they did not come in the containers. My guess that it's a shipping thing and I wouldn't mind paying extra just so I can get the container.

As for the size of the shirts, I've been wearing large shirts for a while, but I've been switching to mediums since I've been slimming down. I ordered large and the shirts fit like a medium. The shirts are really cool and I would really like to order some more, but I would like to know if I can get them with the containers.
 
The sizing of Uniqlo just boggles my mind..case in point from what i have.

All Medium
MGS Series #1 from HK - fits snug
MGS Series #2 from KidSamurai - fits loose
Gundam from KidSamurai - fits tight
generic Uniqlo shirts from NYC - one fits INSANELY loose! then another runs long and tight.

oddly enough, their jackets and jeans fit great.
 
SkinnyPupp the cooperations shirt is awesome! And it shipped pretty fast too. :D

I was able to get the Che shirt off Ebay luckily enough.

Now I just have to redeem the codes to get the shirts in the game itself. :D
 
Anyone know where I can order these t-shirts from a UK site? They not on the Uniqlo Uk websites >.< I would like to get myself a couple of these if possible!
 
I'll be at Uniqlo NYC Friday (my birthday) to pick a shirt up. Probably going to show Hideo my ID to prove it's my birthday and pray he gives me something.
 
Going to the Uniqlo Store tomorrow to pick up a couple of shirts and a Kojima sig! Any other Gaffers going to be there? I'm starting to wonder what time I should be lining up......
 
I'm goin' too. I'm leaving at 5:30 or so to try to get a good spot, but this one picture from Aki Saito's Twitter unnerves me. To think that people are lining up the evening prior...

Afterward, I'm bolting for the Best Buy line as well. I've got a friend who'll try to get a spot early, we'll see how my plan works out. :lol
