HOLY FUCK, Phantom Volgin looks fucking amazing. The design is so badfass, holy hell. He is probably a boss fight since they went that far to make a highly detailed figure out of him. I can't FREAKING wait!!!

I'm really disappointed that I couldn't go. Such a major missed opportunity there. I hope he'll be in LA for the release of TPP. Only a 4 hour drive. I'll take off from work and everything.
 
I was excited for the game, but I wasn't that hype until I finally played Ground Zeroes. It finally hit me when Big Boss was shooting them soldiers at the tanker

Anyway, here's a neat chart showing the evolution of Snake's design.

No, not expecting anything new, but we got some new info anyway; a close up of the flaming demon from the hospital scene in toy form. It pretty much confirms that it's a flaming Volgin ghost most likely caused by Psycho Mantis.

It's a timeline, not really there to show off his design.

It would be cool if you get notified when your base is being attacked through the companion app

That depends on how base attacking works. If you can get attacked while you're away, cool. But if so, can your resources be stolen? If so, people can really fuck you up.
 
Snake Eater is still the best design.

In terms of what?

I think Ground Zeroes Boss is the best in terms of aesthetics, movement, CQC, and animation.

Naked Snake has the best Snake facial design; to me it is *the* face of Snake. He looks a great deal like Solid Snake does in the Plissken outfit, reaffirming the LesEnfants tie. Whith Peace Walker they started going more towards the Big Boss facial design which is only logical, but I liked my character more as Snake than Big Boss. It doesn't help Peace Walker Snake has dead eyes.

The dead eyes is due to the tech limitations. The detail on his face in GZ is crazy good.

But yes, I get how it reaffirms the LET project and how they aren't actually 100% identical to Big Boss (except Solidus) which, as they've gotten older, they have slightly different facial appearances.

There a possibility for a really engaging multiplayer mode

By having other people attack you base there would be a cycle of losing/expending resources and upgrading your base/finding better tools to better protect from future infiltrations.

Replaying missions and grinding will be fun ^-^

Peace Walker Snake is best Snake design IMO. That or Old Snake.
 
I've always been a fan of Plisken Snake and Naked Snake.

The Acid design of Snake is cool, too. I always assumed it was what he would look like in MGS1 if he'd never cut his hair in the intro. Well, at least in his render... his artwork looks pretty stylized.
