david hayter if your reading this please respond
He can't respond when he's too busy recording lines for MGSV.
God i'm so thirsty for new news of MGSV.
We better get a new trailer at Gamescom :/
The game is mentioned in one of the Gamescom Press Releases. But it's in a different context. It doesn't outright state that the game will be showed. But it's cool that it was still mentioned, since the subject was open-world games.
I need a link my good man.

Sure!
There are multiple ones in one page, so search for the one titled 'Mega trends: experience fantastic worlds individually and collectively'. It's the first sentence.

I can't remember where it was brought up, but I know what he's talking about! Konami had two games listed for their Gamescom line-up, an "Action-adventure" game (MGS, unless they have some other IP I don't know about. :lol Konami.) and a "Sports" title -- which would be none other than PES 2015!
excuse me. clearly vermon snake is not drinking anything. i always believed that kojima had great attention to detail and scenes like this you would see droplets of water dribble down snakes face. hopefully whoever was responsible for that scene gets fired.

Mega trends: experience fantastic worlds individually and collectively
Looking at many of the games releases, one of the mega-trends of gamescom 2014 is obvious: more and more of the great games productions rely on an open world like the new Zelda for the WiiU (Nintendo) or Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (Konami / Kojima Productions). Compared to open-world games in the past, due to the significant increase in computational power of the new generation of consoles much larger game worlds are possible to map the partially whole continents with their characteristic places of interest now

Thanks!
This should mean we get something new at Gamescom, right!? I highly doubt they would show the same stuff again.
This means that it has about as much chance to be shown as Nintendo's new Zelda game for the WiiU![]()
No no you can't stop the hype train now. Sony press conference it is!
Metal Gear and PES? So basically Konami is showing it's entire lineup of software at Gamescon this year?
That too! Last year, the Action Adventure title was a Castlevania game. This year, I can't think of anything other than MGSV, unless there's a MGR sequel surprise or something else. Or a mobile game.

You guys are annoying as hell. For the 2347890th time. I'm not voicing Snake in MGSV. I said it numerous time on Twitter and you guys never listen.
That would be greatKonami does have their own booth, though. Also, I'm not sure if the game is listed for Sony's conference.

It has to be MGS5! The game is going for a more global appeal - Gamescom has become the second-largest gaming event, so why they hell not!! ^_^
Oh, hell yeah. We'll get something new! BELIEVE!!!!!!!

If you paid more attention, then you would know that it's an item called the Phantom Bottle. There is no water in there. It just gives the illusion of quenching thirst.

The press release mentioning MGSV and the tweet from Ken a few weeks ago convinced me to BELIEVE.

"Are you coming to GamesCom?"

It makes so much sense. But then you include Kojima in the equation and it goes haywire
Also, even if it does have a presence, it may be just a remix of old stuff![]()
Konami called him and said he should say less about his role in MGSV which will be Solid Snake.![]()

It will be something new, if he's there, man!!!! I think Gamescom has become a big enough deal for MGS5 to make a bit of a splash -- Kojima Productions should take advantage!
RELEASE DATE!
I agree, it all fits!
I don't think we'll get a trailer, though - especially if Kojima doesn't tweet that he's cutting a new trailer.But maybe a gameplay presentation!
If i had to guess his team is working on the trailer since he went to Comic-Con because it's not always Kojima who edits the trailers. For example the E3 2013 trailer wasn't made by him at least i haven't seen a big plug saying he edited it
And if the game really comes out in March 2015 i would guess they want to show more, so a new trailer is more likely.
Also, i don't think we'll get a gameplay presentation since prepairing for that stuff would take much more prep time then editing a trailer.
Maybe it's time for the new MGO reveal!
I sure hope so!
MGO makes the most sense IMO. It's the only thing we haven't seen. We don't need another story trailer.

One more thing if Ken is at Gamescom you can bet Kojima is too and since he takes the time to come to Germany he pretty damn sure has something new in his bag.

Well, we haven't seen Solid Snake yet.![]()
No seriously if he's in the game i would guess he wants to show him before the release of the game since believe it or not there are quite a few people who hate Sutherland and (lol i know) don't want to buy the game because of no Hayter in MGSV.
I wonder if they'll leave this for much later on, like GTAV Online. What do you think?
I would be totally ok if we get MGO a few months later or so, just don't rush it. (Hint: Konami ID)
Just give me the damn main game and i'm more than happy to play through it a thousand times before Metal Gear Online comes out.
Lol those people will suck it up and buy the game eventually. No need to a ruin a surprise twist ahead of time just to cater to those people.

Another thing to get hyped for THE SOUNDTRACK. I just CAN'T WAIT to hear the new score from Harry Gregson-Williams.
I really really hope we get a taste of the OST in the next trailer.

I want to listen to the full version of the theme that was teased in the GZ-After-Credits TPP Trailer.
Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnng!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Another heart attack?!)

I kind of want to see him in a trailer first (IF he's in of course) with the famous "Kept you waiting, huh?" by David Hayter. I want to see those fan reactions, it would be infuckingsane.![]()
Nah, that should be the final scene of the game. Just imagine it:

I dunno, there's two scenarios I see happening if Hayter's in:Nah dude, i would say if Hayter is in he has more lines than just this one. If Something like this happens then of course i want to play as Solid Snake. It would be pretty stupid to make SS with Fox Engine just for the final cutscene.
