The game is mentioned in one of the Gamescom Press Releases. But it's in a different context. It doesn't outright state that the game will be shown. But it's cool that it was still mentioned, since the subject was open-world games.

I can't remember where it was brought up, but I know what he's talking about! Konami had two games listed for their Gamescom line-up, an "Action-adventure" game (MGS, unless they have some other IP I don't know about. :lol Konami.) and a "Sports" title -- which would be none other than PES 2015!
God i'm so thirsty for new news of MGSV.

excuse me. clearly vermon snake is not drinking anything. i always believed that kojima had great attention to detail and scenes like this you would see droplets of water dribble down snakes face. hopefully whoever was responsible for that scene gets fired.

If you paid more attention, then you would know that it's an item called the Phantom Bottle. There is no water in there. It just gives the illusion of quenching thirst.
That too! Last year, the Action Adventure title was a Castlevania game. This year, I can't think of anything other than MGSV, unless there's a MGR sequel surprise or something else. Or a mobile game.

And if the game really comes out in March 2015 i would guess they want to show more, so a new trailer is more likely.
Also, i don't think we'll get a gameplay presentation since prepairing for that stuff would take much more prep time then editing a trailer.

MGO makes the most sense IMO. It's the only thing we haven't seen. We don't need another story trailer.

Lol those people will suck it up and buy the game eventually. No need to a ruin a surprise twist ahead of time just to cater to those people.
I would be totally ok if we get MGO a few months later or so, just don't rush it. (Hint: Konami ID)
Just give me the damn main game and i'm more than happy to play through it a thousand times before Metal Gear Online comes out.

I kind of want to see him in a trailer first (IF he's in of course) with the famous "Kept you waiting, huh?" by David Hayter. I want to see those fan reactions, it would be infuckingsane.

Nah dude, i would say if Hayter is in he has more lines than just this one. If Something like this happens then of course i want to play as Solid Snake. It would be pretty stupid to make SS with Fox Engine and everything just for the final cutscene.
I dunno, there's two scenarios I see happening if Hayter's in:
The one I posted before. Sets up a MG1/MG2 remake perfectly.
The last half of MGSV being a remake of MG1.
Obviously he isn't going to be voicing a 12 year old Snake. So unless there's a timeskip, we aren't going to be seeing Hayter.
