I stumbled on this last night while changing channels. I don't speak Spanish so I didn't understand what they were saying, yet I knew what was going on because it was mostly a scene-for-scene remake of Breaking Bad. It was fascinating noting all the similarities and differences from the original show. Walter Blanco does a good job acting as Walter White, as most everyone else acting as their American counterparts. Even Walt Jr. does the Walt Jr. face. I'm a little disappointed in Jessie in that he was way too handsome, and he was more soft spoken. I was waiting to hear a "Si, puta!" in that episode but no such luck. And Tuco comes across as a bipolar uncle than as the unstable powder keg that he was.
It was mostly scene for scene, except I think they cut some stuff. For example, Walt and Jessie are cooking in their basement when Jessie's realtor comes in the house to show to potential buyers. A kid goes into the basement and waves hi to them. Walt tells Jessie to chase them out. But instead of showing Jessie cursing out his realtor and the buyers, it just cuts to commercial and comes back with Walt at home talking to Skylar.
I don't like their use of music at all. The original BB theme is used a lot, like almost before every commercial. But the actual title theme sounds like a bad copycat.
I couldn't stop watching the episodes last night on UniMas, but I think it's a result of missing Breaking Bad. The scripts are still solid in any language.
