It's using the Circle Pad.Game looks great! Do we know if there's a heavy reliance on a stylus? If so, that's going to bum me out because I HATE using it and it seems from the video that it's used with how freely Samus aims.
Is it me or...is that voice over pretty bad?
Also completely optional and tied to the same finite resource you use for the other powersthat scan is a little too generous
ugh. I don't know how you're supposed to shoot or jump in this game. Couldn't the voice over explain that?
Looking at a trailer like this, you just know that something like Sonic Mania yould never happen in a fuckin million years.

Taken from the Samus Return reveal thread.
Why are they playing Ridley's theme in the background? Are they forcing him into this game now? Poor bastard can't even sleep when he's dead.
It's also the generic Escape theme so maybe there are escape sequences in the game?

What is with Metroid and crappy narrative voice-overs?
The PAL version of Prime's intro, the Prime 3 credits, the Smash Bros Brawl remix of Brinstar...

Oh yes, can't forget "The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace" spoken by some random bored dude.Well, it's there since super Metroid

...What?
Really excited for this. Maybe it's because it's been ages since the last Metroid game or because I haven't played Metroid II, but I'm looking forward to having a new game to explore.
The amount of goodies tucked away behind amiibo seems excessive though.
It's basically Power Bombs except it reveals some of the map too. That scan ability looks totally overpowered.
Yep. Making it seem like you can't access all the content in the game without using every Metroid Amiibo.
I wasn't aware that you'd need to use both Smash Samuses to access the sound test.
Zero Suit Samus unlocks the sound test, regular Samus unlocks the Samus Returns concept art gallery.
