Maybe it's because it's Kraid's size. It wouldn't make sense for him to be able to keep up with Samus story-wise. The only major enemies that I can remember that could keep up with Samus were Ridley, Dark Samus, and SA-X. The odds on running into Kraid on another planet are slim but he is due for another battle with Samus. maybe he has even lost some wait or something, only time will tell of his dreaded fate.

After reading about the extra content in the Jungle Beat wiimake, im sure they could work something out for Metroid Prime 1 and 2.

Considering state of Retro Studios right now, I don't think I would want them to mess with anything.

Clearly Kraid had the class to refuse to participate in such a sham and decided to simply retire with dignity. Who would blame him seeing that hideous mockup?

Kraid isn't that great looking to begin with. On second thought, his redesign in Zero Mission was cool.
