OK, so I'm able to go down into Tourian and fight Mother Brain - but I have yet to see any "Power/Super Bomb" and I've seen the icon around the game where it's the only thing that can break special blocks - where the hell is this thing? Is it even accessible anywhere? I can't find it anywhere - does anyone have any clues? It's starting to annoy me.

heh I just finished this game a few hours ago. You get the power bomb very late in the game. You definitely don't need it if you just got to tourian. Even when you do get it you won't need to use it much unless you back track and hunt down missiles/tank expansions.

I was so pumped the game from this point onwards. Such a satisfying run towards the end. An amazing game.

It got better and better until the stealth sequence. I nearly broke my SP. Thank god it was short.

And for those of us who got all 8 endings, it was necessary. :)

Getting the suit back felt like an incredible pay-off though so I think it was worth it.. it just unleashes you back onto the ship and you feel nigh on invincible :D

Regarding the end of the game:

It really wasn't a stealth sequence. At least how I played it. More of a run as fast as you can oh my god they are right behind me the car won't start the door is locked oh no sequence. With retribution at the end.

I finished the game, but I could never figure out how to get access to the earlier parts of the game
(those areas that you explore prior to losing suit)
to try to find all the upgrades. I went over the area again and again but I couldn't find any secret tunnels (I bombed everywhere multiple times... *sigh*). Besides that frustration it was a great game :)

Yep. Once I resigned myself to just going as fast as I could through that area and forgot about trying to be "stealthy" it made things a lot less frustrating :)

There was a glass tube that you had to use a super bomb while in it.
