MGS4 Demo Coming To PSN in February ?

Like I said before, if anytime was the time to do it. I would bet on the week of GDC.
But also like I said, I doubt this news. :(

Whatever, I'm going to get a American or Japanese region version of that game. No way I'm getting the retarded Asian version.

Errr.... what? There are no "versions" of PS3 games. They're locked to your SYSTEM. Uncharted is the same no matter where you buy it. JP disc? US disc? PAL disc? It'll be exactly the same depending on what region your PS3 is. And yes, the PS3 does have regions, even if it doesn't revent you from playing games from other regions.

Sorta not good enough for me. I need Payton, Kojima, or Konami to come right and say that there will be no demo.
 
I damn well hope there's no demo. If there is, there's no way I'm going to be able to resist. And I'm going to feel so ashamed of myself afterwards.

Yeah, because the announcement of a demo from a magazine that claims it received its information from a Konami rep who would not be named is just as legit. Please.

Dude (or dudette), I've been listening to the podcast since The Kojima Productions Report first came to be. You're missing the point. Ryan claimed two weeks ago that there we no plans for a demo, but then some no-name magazine claims two weeks later that an "unamed Konami representative" says there'll be a demo in Feb and everyone suddenly forgets about common logic.

I want either Ryan, Kojima, or Konami to come out and make a statement about THIS situation, because apparently now everything they've said in the past about there being no plans for a demo means absolute jack shit to some people.

Raiden says hi to the demo hopefuls.

I've been feeling neutral to any Konami news regarding the MGS series after the introduction of Raiden. I don't get surprised any more is what I am trying to say. Demo or no demo this bit of news is exciting and helping me pass the time until release day.
 
Or it may very well be absolutely nothing but bull shit publicity. Honestly, all I'm doing is trying to warn you guys to not get your hopes up. I'm just going to laugh at anyone who actually feels the need to complain and bitch next month saying, "zomgwtf dey promissed a demo cojimu produckshuns is teh liarz!"

There will probably be plenty of people who will find a way to blame Payton for it too.

Maxconsole didn't contact Konami - they are a user driven site that like to make shit up for hits....and their "quotation" says "It's pure speculation" - which is generic, followed by "I'm afraid" - showing they made this up. Too see through. We'll wait for reall confirmation/denial.
 
I remember spending 4 hours playing the MGS3 demo... ~cries~ I was so scared I would spend a year just playing the actual MGS3. :lol
