So MS has to be making AoE4...and announcing KB/M for XBO for crossplay. That would be the only thing that would be worthy of 20th year anniversary imo.
It looks like there is!Please tell me there is an attack move option now..

Same story for me with Age of Mythology! I just finished a degree in Classics, which all started with this game.
So no Steam release......
Now that's a game I still play with my roommate so I would love that but who owns the rights to that IP at the moment?
Oh god it's going to be a windows store exclusive?
RIP Age of Empires franchise. Why the heck would I buy this to play with no one else online.
Just get AoE2 on Steam.
Win10 exclusive seems such a boneheaded decision...
yes they mean Windows Store. Is Windows 10 exclusive == Windows Store exclusive?
I mean, if we are getting into semantics, then Steam is also on Windows 10.
windows 10 is an operating system
it could be on steam and still require windows 10
As of 2017, Rebellion Developments owns the IP.

not sure how valid that is, but that's what Wikipedia says.

Every dev should pull away from there.
Microsoft, for once, is doing the good thing.

^Except when the alternative is the Windows 10 Store.

There is clearly no audience for this on Steam, the Windows 10 store is the obvious home for this fine product.
Oh...
