thats not even considering what two or three games rare might be working on

and then there is the obvious gears/halo/fable/forza/quantom break/tomb raider which is what everyone expects so..it'll be interesting to see what he meant by focusing on first party ips since i don't think they'll go ham on the third party exclusives this time.

hopefully it's a bunch of fresh new IPS to go along with the established ones

It can be both plural and singular, like "new content" One new IP would be pretty underwhelming for a first party focus, though, so I'll think at least two. Rare's AAA and Twisted Pixel's new IP at that.

For the big Rare announcements I'm expecting one AAA game (Banjo or new IP) and also a lot of re-releases. Phil has said time after time that this year (Rares 30th anniversary) is a time to celebrate, both them and their legacy. So I'm expecting something in the fashion of Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Conker: Live & Reloaded etc etc all re-released for the Xbox One.

I'm not a big fan of remasters but wouldn't mind a few from the OG Xbox era under a 'Classics' branding, just straight upscales / 60 fps jobs will do.

There's some great games and they could really help in padding out the library for little investment.

My first few picks would be :-

Conker Live & Reloaded
