I think this is a smart move. Not the email address, the general move to Xbox as a brand. Microsoft Gaming showcases that it's Microsoft, and that is never a good thing. Xbox is established enough and anything Microsoft just sounds corporate and dead inside. If they're going to make efforts to revive Xbox, not sounding dead inside is definitely a part of that.
