Can't believe people still buy brands, much less preppy brands. C'mon guys, didn't we all learn our lesson with Starter jackets in grade school?

Really i have 20 dollar pants from target that dont ride up. Never been in A&F but im guessing their jeans cost upwards of 50 to 80 dollars, if not more?Tideas said:why the hate on A&F?
Their jeans are one of the few jeans that are made so that they don't ride up your friging crotch whenever you sit.
and their hoodies are the best ever. keeps you warm even in the 30s and still make you look good.
I woul never pay full price for it though. then again, I never pay full price for anything
You serious? There are actual, real shirtless guys running around in the stores?Killthee said:There's always at least one shirtless guy and one chick wearing a tank top and shorts at the front door. There's also shirtless photography/art all over the stores.
Wouldn't surprise me considering the entrances are always dominated by a big crotch shot of a guy in jeans with no shirt on, in the rain.. :lolSouldriver said:You serious? There are actual, real shirtless guys running around in the stores?
The shirtless guys are usually reserved for the front door, inside the stores they all wear polo shirts. The shirtless photos (+ art in the flagship stores) are plastered all over the store; even in the shopping bags.Souldriver said:You serious? Hmmm. I think I might have a pair of Vans sneakers at home. But I bought them because they were cheap and comfortable from Payless. I wouldn't set foot into a Vans store, if such a thing existed.Blackace said:you have nothing branded at all? nothing???

Target? Erg...I am never going back to those types of jeans again. Shit gets bad after like 1 month of wearing.,
but no, you're right. AF pants tend to cost $80-100. That's why i wait for deals when it drops to like $30-$40

Last time we found out that people wear the same pair of jeans every day for 5 months straight. I wonder what we'll find out next...
What does quoting my tag and target have to do with anything?Tideas said:captive

They mean buying something specifically because its a certain brand. You know the type of people that look at someones clothes and go "oh thats soooo last year" or "ew i cant believe your wearing THAT brand." Which coincidentally is the type of people that shop at AF.Solo said:Everything you buy is a brand name.

At every store during high traffic, sometimes with a girl. The flagship stores usually have 2 shirtless guys and one girl during high traffic or just 2 guys wearing shirts during low traffic.suaveric said:Wait a second, they have a shirtless guy greeter at every store or just the flagship one in NYC?
...and more people don't find this REALLY disturbing?Killthee said:At every store during high traffic, sometimes with a girl. The flagship stores usually have 2 shirtless guys and one girl during high traffic or just 2 guys wearing shirts during low traffic.
