Even if the game is shit, comparing it to The Day Before is just not cool. I'm sure it's no worse than Gollum or King Kong. But Gollum has 41% on Steam.

Somehow I doubt the game is worse than Gollum.

Reading through the reviews, every one I've seen is complaining about performance problems or that they want it to be a truly open world game. The ones talking about the actual content of the game itself are positive.

running animation looks really cheaply made
story has to be exceptionally great for this to be bearable
gun animations really look subpar, it's like his arm is super stiff and doesn't react to recoil, it looks really weird
a lot of graphical ghosting issues
npc density is incredibly low for a nextgen game

cutscene graphics seem somewhat nice so if story is any good it could be bearable really

but if i'm to compare this to mafia 2, la noire, sleeping dogs, it really falls of short

The game is NOT an open world game ala GTA, Saints row or Watch Dogs. Its a lineair story with the world purely as a backdrop. Yes you can free roam but there really isnt anything to do.

So... just like Mafia games but a lot less?

Watched a fair bit of gameplay. It's not horrendous in any shape or form to me, but then again I can stand quite a bit more jank then most of Gaf it seems. The genre isn't my favourite and the price seems too steep for what you get. Might pick it up down the line at a lower price point and maybe some patches and/or dlc makes it more enticing.

The gameplay reminds me of a 360/ps3 gen game ok.
And the 'subjective' thing is just as lame. I'm sure somewhere out there there will be poeple than genuinely liked Gollum, Kong, and Ride to Hell. It doesnt mean those games are not absolute trash though.
