I wanna see the statue in close-up "YOU CAN SEE THE PORESSSS!" HD resolution. Lord knows publishers make them flattering in these sorts of shots but the final ones are Witcher 3 level of bad.
Rest of it isn't really worth $200 so I'm going to pass despite REALLY wanting those temp tattoos for the sake of copying them for cosplay.

As always it would be wise to wait and see how it turns out before buying because a lot of these statues suffer QC issues

These publishers are crazy. Not as crazy as the people who buy this stuff, though, I suppose. I am just gobsmacked that anyone ponies up for this kind of shit. And this is coming from someone who pays upwards of $100 for boxed NES games.

On second thought, I don't think the statue will be great even with the $200 price tag. Triforce sells their 12" LBP statues at $200 and here they have just about $120 to work with for a 14" statue.

To be fair, that 14" could just be some tacked on height with the glass between Faith and the girl.

Value is total shit. Everything except the statue would be a pre-order freebie from any other publisher. This is worth like $100.

True, but I'd really rather just have Triforce (or Gaming Heads) make a guaranteed beauty than risk getting a statue from a CE. Those don't usually end well.

CEs vary greatly, but some are amazing. Skyrim was 4 years ago but was absolutely fantastic. Lightning Returns was surprisingly great, as was Type-0.
This one will be fantastic if the statue is good enough. Id pay $200 alone for a high quality Faith statue.

Its not about the build quality its about the design. Far better than others with the main character posing or fighting enemies. This one is evocative.

I really hope it turns out I'm totally joking and being unnecessarily cynical.
I was actually extremely unimpressed with the US packaging for the Type-0 CE in a thin carboard box, though the steelbook was nice, and it was a full $100 too.
For much cheaper, Square Enix gave us a much larger, much better CE with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. A big, solid box, lots of great content, and I got it for $40 cheaper. That one was spectacular.

That reads to me like it's gamestop exclusive in NA but other retailers will carry it in other countries, though. :/

type-0 contents were some of the best i've gotten, with the 200 page manga and 80 page art book, plus the prints, and soundtrack.
Lightning returns pocketwatch was the biggest surprise though, was MUCH nicer than I expected

I want the statue but not digging the younger her on there as well though.
I love Mirror's Edge, but this is just meh in my opinion. I wish they would have made a collector's edition that came with a big, hard-cover artbook instead. I'm not going to do anything with that statue or those "temporary tattoos", I'd much rather see more art of the game's universe. Oh well, just gonna pick up the regular version of the game.

The picture of her face on the inside kills it for me.Yeah, I fucked up when I didn't buy the super collectors edition with the Timbuk2 nice runner bag last time. I would have bought one this time. Damn. Not buying this though, because I don't really care/want statues.
