Mirror's Edge Catalyst factions and locations info

do you have something against the fashion industry

Well I think there's a divide between what people actually wear and the weird shit people will wear to events so TMZ will give them a shout out for looking weird. That's the vibe I'm getting from that dress. Looks like it's made out of plastic and I'm not totally sure if that's the intention or not.

A bit too much black and metal in some of those screens for my liking but I'm REALLY happy they kept the white plants. Was afraid they'd turn them green.

Right, but that isn't really helping, y'know? People just saying they liked it, and there is an open world aspect... what does that mean? There are multiple ways to approach having an open world. Is it a full blown GTAV-sized experience? Assassin's Creed? Is it more hub-based like Deus Ex? Silent Hill 1 and 2? Is there a mini-map that is constantly inundating you with side quests like in Witcher 3? How does anything factor into... anything else? What is this game?

The videos have been lavish, and I want to be excited, but the marketing campaign feels distant and conceptual, like a Kickstarter pitch video. I should be a die-hard crusader for this game, because I was a die-hard crusader for bringing it back!
The game is still two months away. The marketing and information campaign for AAA games is usually one month away. Just like it was for Quantum Break recently. And The Division. If the game is one week away, and they haven't released world gameplay videos or something similar, then it's time to freak out.

But this stuff's already locked in, isn't it? As features go? We're a month past the original release date. May 24th is on the horizon. We've got to be creeping up on the final stretch of dev work on the game.

Can't we know at least a little of what the open world is about?

For example, take GTA V. One of its notable new features was character switching. It was revealed nine months before release, along with other new features like heists.

Three months before release, the mechanics of character switching go public.

GTAV is obviously just one game, but it is recent, AAA, open world, a sequel, and had a sizable delay, all like Mirror's Edge: Catalyst.

We're only two months out from ME:C's release, and its biggest new feature, which is also the foundation of the game, is a wild card. We know it exists only on the most abstract level.
