MI2 sucks. 1 and 4 are the only one worth while.
He only wrote Valkyrie. Bryan Singer directed it. They were teaming up again after doing Usual Suspects together.I've really enjoyed the Mission: Impossible movies with the exception of 2. I love how different they all feel. Also Christopher Macquarrie directed Valkyrie which was a really good thriller, so I'm on board for this.
Cruise might be a crazy person but I realized that I pretty much enjoy the vast majority of his movies and so I'm hyped for this.
Glad to read they moved it to a summer release also love the concept reminds me of Alias.
he's really hanging off the airplane right
Yep with wires of course. He does all.his stunts.

He also directed Way of the Gun, while a smaller film had some good action. I'm sure he will do fine.Looks cool. Ghost Protocol was a ton of fun, so I am curious to see how McQuarrie tops it. I thought he did a good job on Jack Reacher, so let's see how he does with a bigger canvas.
Ghost Protocol was ok but the villain was extremely underwhelming.
Remember when this franchise wasn't simply James Bond with more sidekicks? I want the espionage and intrigue of the first movie.

Oh, don't get wrong, I'm not a fan of MI:2 either. The opening with the bike chase just reminded me a lot of it.Really? Thought MI:2 was the weakest of the series. Dem doves . . .
Basically. I'm on board. Some weird opinions in this thread.
Teaser looks fucking amazing. Going on blackout now - no need to see anything else until the theater!
No way in hell is 3's third act worse than Ghost Protocol's.3 had the best villain of the series in Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Unfortunately it also had the worst third act of the series, which drags it down a bit.
2 had some good moments, and a great soundtrack. But the problem was that the entire thing felt like an American film ripping off a John Woo film and watering it down. Sadly, it was John Woo doing it to himself.
1 has some great stuff in it, particularly the heist in the computer room. It just bugs me that they made Phelps the bad guy in the end.
Ghost Protocol was the most fun. It had some great action sequences, and I liked that they embraced just how crazy all of the stuff is. It didn't take itself too seriously, and it was the first film in the series to actually feel like a team effort instead of the Ethan Hunt show.
They should have never abandoned the M:i-2 formula.
I miss M:i-2.
What a movie.
Good riddance tbh
She was horrible.
I prefer the first one where it was more of a thriller and the execution of the missions actually mattered.
