I can't remember the last time I've been this bored while watching a fight.

I get that Cantwell was the "WEC light heavyweight champion" but why is he still here?

Did I just hear Diego now calls himself The Dream?

Yeah. He said just before or just after his last fight that he didn't want to be called the Nightmare anymore because it was too negative (and, by extension, because Diego is a crazy person), and now they're calling him The Dream.

Get the fuck outta here Diego The Dream. That's horrible.

Let's call him Diego "Yes" Sanchez.

I don't think anything will beat the 30-24 Nate Quarry got when fought Kalib Starnes.

Benji Radach got a very similar scorecard when he lost to St Preux, but for that entire fight it seemed like the ref should have stepped in.

edit: Looked it up, the Radach/St Preux score from their fight in Strikeforce was the same as the Cantwell/Diabate fight tonight.

Dear Dana White,

Please get the UFC some new theme music.

Sincerely,

Everyone who isn't a 15 year old stoner who hates his parents.
They own the Pride theme why dont they use it?

Even the old UFC theme wasn't terrible. Hell, it was apparently the reason Bas Rutten wanted to fight in the UFC if you hear him tell it.

Go Dimaceo! Been looking forward to this fight...

Yeah. That was a great interview on the Joe Rogan podcast last week...

Wow. AGAIN with the guillotine.

First round again, too. That's gotta be an awful feeling. You know, aside from just the fact that he got choked unconscious on international TV.

Avoid the guillotine at all costs - Damacio Page

Damacio Page: Time to avoid the guillotine

Damacio Page admits he will be extremely wary of the guillotine choke when he rematches Brian Bowles at UFC Live on Thursday.

Page was submitted inside the first round when the pair met at WEC 35 two years ago. The Albuquerque native had been in control when he set up a huge powerslam midway through the opening stanza, but Bowles responded with the guillotine.

Snapping it on whilst Page was still standing, Bowles locked the choke on tight to send his rival to sleep in spectacular fashion. Now they will do it all over again, and Page has learned his lesson.

"It's always good to have a rematch because you get to redeem yourself," said the 28-year-old ahead of his UFC debut.

"I've just got to stay away from his guillotine. He's got tough grappling so I just stay away from that, stick to my gameplan and punch him in the face, should do alright.

:(

Would be nice to see Bowles make some noise in the division. He seemingly fell off a cliff after knocking MAT the fuck out and then losing to Cruz.

That loss to Cruz wasn't exactly his fault. I mean, he broke his hand on the first punch he threw.

I'm still all weirded out about that fight. Bowles quitting was the smart thing to do (especially considering this kid has limitless potential) but it was still kind of jarring to see someone on that level go out like that.

The doctor stopped the fight.

That knee was nice but I'm more impressed with him taking advantage of his mic time and challenging Tito.

I hate guys who waste their national exposure with "I'll fight whoever the UFC puts in front of me."

in that vein, Bones Jones is such an awesome tv personality. I actually want to hear what he has to say.

I can't believe it took a promo to finally sell me on Bones Jones.

If this guy is Mirko's protege and the teacher is always older than the student...MIRKO'S OLD!

Fixed it for you.

And I'm a huge CroCop mark...

But seriously...this guy is looking impressive. Todd Brown's a pretty tough guy.

Hello fellow Clippers fan Fisticuffs.

Maybe I'm nuts but Sakara vs Vitor has been my dream match for the past few years.
