Jesus...kimbo just doesnt have any power at all on the ground. He had some good moments.

He's too old. He's too limited. And he has no gas tank.

He's a nice enough man and I actually like him. I have nothing against him but this is just pointless at this stage for him.

You're a sad individual if the reason you tuned into this show was to watch Kimbo effing Slice. Seriously, you get a free MMA fight each week but it's this circus act that draws you?

Crazy.

Fuck you Dana.

What the hell else is there for this season? A bunch of fat sloths gassing every round and smothering fighters with beer guts.

Fuck you Kimbo.

well he lost, but it wasnt an embarrassment, that guy was 35lbs heavier than him and he basically sat on him and slapped his bald head. I think its a guarantee he comes back via an injury drop out though.

The first three UF fights were circus acts...

most of the TUF fights are garbage. just because i'm an mma fan doesn't mean i have to watch every shitty mma fight out there. i like kimbo slice so i want to watch his fights. don't know why some people think that you have to dislike kimbo if you are an mma fan.

Really, you cal anything else weve seen this season wort watching? You think without Kimbo there will be good fights? It will turn ito another season about pissing on each other and whatnot. Almostr ALL of the rest of thes guys are bums. So yeah, no Kimbo.. no watch for me.

He's the only reason I tuned in so chalk me up in the sad category although the conclusion was foregone. It's not like TUF is generally anything other than a freak show. I have no problem watching this show because of Kimbo and the only reason I'll tune in next week is to see if he gets another fight. Also to see more Rampage and Rashad smack talk.

Yeah, he certainly is coming is to all of this late. I think he did well considering, he had some good shots and actually seemed to have energy after the fight was over.

War Big Country baby!!!!!!

he did what he had to do, no point in going out and taking a beating on the feet, in this situation when you have a fight 1 week then 2 weeks later you have another one doing barely enough to win is a smart move. No point in getting badly injured and not being able to fight.

Yeah, that matches up with the rumor I heard for the spoiler, Kimbo gets to come back and does pretty well from here on out.

It doesn't matter if Kimbo comes back or not. These guys need only lay on top of him and its over.

Kimbo is done. He's likable but there isn't a place for him in the sport. His hands just aren't impressive against real fighters and it takes too long to develop a pro ground game.

Beyond that the sport is blowing up beyond him. Kimbo stood out back in 07/08...but in todays game with the way UFC has blown up his presence isn't needed. He won't be a threat in boxing either.

At this point Dana can please me by putting Nelson in the ring with Brock Lesnar. I will have vengeance.

I just don't understand the heavyweight division. If there was a 35lb difference in any other division, it would be considered a joke. Hell, Floyd Mayweather got fined $600,000 for being 2 lbs overweight.

That being said, a loss is a loss. Shame, because I really think the size difference was the deciding factor.

You know, reading this thread has allowed me to do some soul searching. I used to post because I thought every other GAFfer was the enemy. But now I realize the enemy is the inname. Enemy! Inname! Inner.Me. Enemy.

You think Kimbo constitutes a good fight? Kimbo is fucking awful.

Seriously though, you could tell the moments Kimbo wanted to go into brawl mode but restrained himself.
I wish he would have thrown a lot more jabs while circling to set up his other strikes.
It frustrates me that the jab is still underutilized in mma.

Also, fuck the patty-cake love taps from Nelson.

Awful when compared to the UFC heavies and guys outside of the UFC like Fedor and Barnett, but he's about as good as the other people on the show from what we've seen so far.

Regardless of how good of a mixed martial artists Kimbo is, he is exciting to watch. He did some good things in the match, better than expected I believe. He certainly entertained us more than anyone else on there so far.

It's a shame he let himself get into a crucifix two fucking times! Hell, Nelson talked about it with his teammates outside by the pool before the fight. He had the damn thing planned out, it's too bad because the little exchanges while standing Kimbo got the best of him. Even though Kimbo's ground game is extremely weak I'd like to see him come back. I think he has a great chance against most of the other guys in the house. I wasn't impressed at all by Nelson, I was at least hoping for a finish from mount, but bitch punches from a crucifix position? Color me unimpressed.

I just can't believe he hasn't picked up a single movement on the ground. It's not like he hasn't been around fighters or coaches for a bit. He just layed there.

Either way, the fight sucked. This season has been god awful. No context to the fighters or the house, and worse fights then you see in bars.

Heavyweight is essentially a broken division in MMA. They need more weight classes in general in the sport but there is a great fear of watering down the weight classes in what is still a relatively new sport.

I'm more disappointed in Rampage than Kimbo. Not only is he shit in the corner and as a coach, but the dumbass had two chances to put Kimbo up against someone he could actually beat. Instead he gets put up against the favorite to win the whole show, Dana must have been pissed.

That is very true. From the way his standup looked tonight, he could have had a really good chance with the right matching. Perhaps he will make a comeback. He did pretty nicely while on his feet, and showed that he is willing to put a bit of what he practiced into an actual match such as his leg kick(one of them lol), knees, and a slight bit of take down defense while against the cage. I think he has some hope as far as winning at least one goes against these scrubs.

Also, like rampage said, "Who can push the moon off of them?"

On top of that, most of those rabbit punches were bouncing off Roy's gut rather than Kimbo.

Roy won fair and square. Rules are rules. If the fight wasn't stopped, he would've won by decision because he'd keep taking Kimbo down and doing those half crucifixes on him. I mean, it's one thing to just lay on him, but Nelson got him in a crucifix multiple times. Kimbo is helpless on his back, almost as bad as Abe Wagner.

Also, Rampage is hilarious.
