the list is based on official rankings back to the year of 1999.
the research took me a lot of time. i just wanted to know which current fighter had the most quality wins, it's not about who is the best p4p or whatever.
a top 10 win counts only when you fight him at his weight on which he is ranked. it doesn't count when a LHW top 10 fighter weighing 200lbs and fights a guy which have 205lbs+
example: fedor defeated lindland/sobral (ranked mw/lhw). it doesn't count because they fought fedor at hw. if fedor would have fought them at their own weight, i would count it.
anderson's ww wins count because he fought them at their own weight.
1. Winner: Big Nog and Fedor 12 top 10 wins
2. Anderson and Hughes11 top 10 wins
3. GSP, Penn and Liddell10 top 10 wins
4. Couture 9 top 10 wins
5. Shogun and Crocop 7 top 10 wins
Anderson, Big Nog, Fedor, GSP, Penn, Couture, Shogun, Liddell, Hughes
