Yeah I thought he had a really good performance against Paulo Thiago, better than any of Thiago's opponents other than Fitch. I knew they wouldn't show his fight though. I always want to see all the fights; if I'm really uninterested I'll just duck out for a minute and it will usually be over.

Oh yeah I kinda forgot that one. I had him winning the fight actually. Thiago didn't do much after the first round.

Is there going to be a TUF 11 thread?

I can make it. Keeping the TUF discussion here makes it hard to avoid spoilers if you're not keeping up with the episodes at airing, anyway.

It's been over a month and UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi still hasn't sold out yet. :lol

Oh well, reserved for two nights at Crowne Plaza right next to the venue.

Bring it back to NJ; Frankie Edgar needs the homefield advantage!

The card is fine. Anderson Silva vs. Demian Maia is not. Just another notch on the belt.

Who would you prefer he fight? The rock paper scissors bouts between Nate, Chael, and Demian was about as close to #1 contendership as the division had, and at least he's got an angle not many people who've fought Silva have.

But it could also be a 18 second destruction. Who knows.

War Machine got arrested again. What a character.

Yep, Sonnen and Maia are the biggest unsettled challenges for Anderson at 185 right now, and Sonnen gets the winner of Anderson/Maia, so all is in order.

After that, maybe Vitor will return to the picture, or Anderson can fight GSP or some elite 205ers (Shogun would be rad).

Well I guess that's fine.

But, GSP? GSP seems like he isn't going to risk anything at 185. And Dana said he was pleased last press conference that GSP doesn't want to move up in weight. I never see that fight happening. Everything that Dana has been saying after the Griffin fight suggests he isn't going to make it happen. So I think. :p

I don't think he wants to tarnish the biggest stars at the top of weight classes. Unless like Silva, they can clean them out. I do hope he takes on more Light Heavyweights and destroys them. Lots of fights there. I saw another interview with White where he was talking Silva at Heavyweight, I don't know how serious that is.

Anybody watching K-1 in 2 hours? No HDNet and I'm not confident about finding a stream. :(
Yep I nearly watched it all last night (fell asleep after the Semmy fight) and holy shit it was awesome.

Look out Brett Rogers, Übereem is coming!

FYI: Starting on Thursday, April 8, the 2nd Season of Bellator is ON. It's going to be live on Fox Sports Net and there will be an event EVERY THURSDAY. It's going to be NUTS.

Fuck yes.

Tournaments, right? Looking forward to that.
Yep 140, 155, 170 and 185lb tournaments. The winner of each tournament takes on the title holder of last season. Meanwhile, so that the ttle holders aren't on ice all season they will participate in super fights such as LW Champ Eddie Alvarez fighting Josh Neer and MW Champ Hector Lombard fighting Paulo Filho in non-title matches.

For this season Bellator snatched up a SHITLOAD of budding prospects like Joe Warren and Ben Askren. IMO this is going to be almost as good as the Pride Grand Prix tournaments of old in terms of competition level.

Sweet. I wanted to watch the first season but it was nigh impossible to find.

Surprised Shogun isn't throwing a leg kick there.

Effective trolling requires that you're taken seriously enough to justify an emotionally charged response. Just FYI.

Filho-Lombard is pretty interesting. Alvarez-Neer is kind of befuddling to me. Neer has looked truly awful his last few fights so maybe they just want to give Alvarez a win.

Yeah it's tough because what other known LWs aren't tied down to the UFC or DREAM? DREAM probably has some exclusivity thing with Strikeforce now so they will most likely be much more stingy when it comes to loaning fighters for these kinds of things unfortunately. And this fight was set up long before Huerta got signed.

Thanks. I never watched the first season. It will be good to hopefully see some actual fighting on a weekly show unlike the crap on TUF.
Didn't you see this season's TUF premiere? Some damn good fights. This season is gonna be good.

I saw the premiere. I'll probably give it a go. I've just become disenchanted over the last several seasons with the crappy drama and lack of skilled fighters. Especially in the British season where they purposely had the American team full of bums.

ALVES vs FITCH in vancouver!!!!!! ...The vancouver card is looking very good!!!

Here is the card so far for UFC 115:

Main card:

Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin
Thiago Alves vs Jon Fitch
Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald
Tyson Griffin vs. Evan Dunham
Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic vs. Pat Barry

Preliminaries:

Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel
Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago
Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman
Claude Patrick vs. TBA

Kampmann-Thiago is a prelim on that card? Make Liddell-Franklin a prelim instead. Well I'm sure things will change up a million times before then anyway.
