137 just got better .. Palaszewski vs Griffin was just added. His record is spotty but Palaszewski is tough as nails and fun to watch. And Griffin is gonna give him a hell of a fight.

I am really really considering it. I mean at least in terms of the fighters I care about, it doesn't get any better than this. If I can get a good seat when the tickets go on sale I think maybe I'll do it.

Select the upper level and then pick "best available", you should be able to get dead center in the very first row of the upper level for about $400 if the pricing is the same as it was for 132 at the MGM. And you'll most likely be sitting by me because I'll be doing the exact same thing.

they're not gonna send any of these fights to the UK, those filthy beggars will take the subpar fights just for the UFC to fulfill contracts and they are going to like them. The rest of the cards are pretty much made.

I love mmajunkie but they really have tone their ads down. The news page is an attrocious, cluttered, sloppy mess with those enormous Bellator banners everywhere.

EDIT: The 'big announcement' from ESPN was Leben vs Munoz is going to be the headline of UFC 138. Booooo!
 
I like Page more than Jones, but I think Jones is going to take this. I thought Jones, Shogun, Machida, Silva, Rampage, Rashad were all around the same level, but Jones domination Shogun was crazy. Shogun is guy known for his ability to recover, but Jones beat all recovery hopes out of him in their fight. Rampages best chances in this fight is to get Jones to trade with him in close like he did with Rashad or get Jones on his back and then wreck his shit.
 
Page is going to be his dumbass usual self and strictly box. I'd love it if he would win, but I doubt it.

If old Rampage was back he would have put Hamill out. He's had three straight unimpressive fights since coming "back" from filming movies, and honestly, he really hasn't shown anything to even deserve a title shot but he's there on name and personality. I like his personality, but he better step it up about 10 times as much as he has the past few fights.
 
We all know how hellishly exhausting and brutal Reem's last fight way, I can completely understand why he would need the recovery time.
 
Jon Fitch will defeat almost anyone in the 170 division. Too bad he has no charisma. Perhaps he should start playing the villain like Josh Koscheck; having met him though and partied with him, he's not the type of guy who will play that up.

K-1 is zzzz with no mt clinching, hugging, 3 minute rounds. Not liking what Fitch does doesn't mean we don't like all groundwork.
 
I'm a big fan of Demetrious, but I don't think he's ready for Cruz at this point in his career. I'll be rooting for him regardless.
 
who else are you going to give the shot to? 135# is a shallow division, it was either him or bowles, but i think he broke his hand again, so w/e.

well it was a joke but I was pretty sure that that was what the announcement would be. It's kinda like those video game announcements where the news of it breaks a few days early then you think the big announcement coming up is something different and it ends up being the very thing you heard about a couple days back and it's a letdown.

I DO watch kickboxing and love it. However, I also enjoy the ground game however and the dynamic between it and the stand up game that we see in MMA. I just prefer to see fighters fight to finish rather than intentionally stall.
 
Does anyone else kind of giggle a little when you think about the idea of Miguel Angel Torres ever being on the top p4p list?

especially when half of his fights were in bars and pool halls in northwest indiana.
 
what's the point, if either are cut by strikeforce they will end up back in the UFC.
hendo is 5-1 in his last 6 fights, so it's not like he can't fight anymore. after fedor subs him let him fight tito in the ufc.
 
Uh oh is Titan not paying their guys either?

Can't wait for Cruz vs Johnson. The speed and energy levels of that one is gonna be off the charts.
