Aldo is going to kick ass.sien916 said:I'm picking Okami, but not putting any money on it. Same for Mendes against Aldo. THE MMA SOOTHSAYER HAS SPOKEN.

Warpath would be a more appropriate opponent, I think. Both he and Fedor are on 3 fight losing streaks. They could bill as streak vs streak. Someone's 0 has got to go.![]()

or why not face off against american fedor?
charsace said:People have to seriously question Fedor's record after this whole bullshit with M1. They say he has some say in the running of the company, so I've been wondering if Fedor has always been shady.

Everyone is unbeatable until they get beat, ya know?tass0 said:lol Anderson would knock him out in 5 minutes.
We all saw what he done to Forrest Griffin, and he was toying around in that fight.
Rashad wouldn't try to stand with him. I think he would be a good match up for Silva.tass0 said:lol Anderson would knock him out in 5 minutes.

TheNatural said:So, UFC on Versus going head to head with Summerslam this weekend. First time I can remember a live UFC event of any kind the same time as a WWE PPV. Not that one would necessarily hurt the other, especially since this is a 'B' UFC card. I don't get why its not on Saturday night though. Sunday night is such a dumb night for MMA.

This just gets weirder and weirder.
What?! Are you kidding me?! To each their own on who they like to see fight but I think this is one of the most incredible cards they've had in the past couple of events. Each fight has FOTN potential written all over it. It's definitely a striker's delight so I could see how you wouldn't be interested if you're into grappling and submissions and what not.TheNatural said:So, UFC on Versus going head to head with Summerslam this weekend. Dan Hardy vs. Chris Lytle
Ben Henderson vs. Jim Miller
Donald Cerrone vs. Charles Oliveira
Duane Ludwig vs. Amir Sadollah
TheNatural said:It's still a B card with practically no title implications for any of the fights really. Maybe there could be some slugfests though, who knows what they'll be.
Dagless M.D. said:Ben Henderson vs Jim Miller most definitely has title implications.
The title implications are more for Miller. If he wins that would be 8 in a row.TheNatural said:If Henderson wins, I don't see how they could give him a shot over Pettis - even though Pettis lost his last fight - he was promised a shot if he beat Henderson.
I think by the time this Edgar-Maynard stuff shakes out, that Gilbert Melendez is just going to come over from Strikeforce and get the shot.

"I left M1 and it was amicable, but there was a huge amount of money still owed to me for the M1 Series production. I was told I would be taken care of, and I never was. A portion of the money owed was supposed to be for the M1 commentators, Jimmy Smith and Sean Wheelock. They were never paid by M-1, so I paid them out of my own pocket."
"I'm selling these tapes as a way to recoup the substantial amount of money that is owned to me. M1 didn't pay the invoices and the past year and a half they've been giving me BS excuses. I know financially things aren't well for them, but this is a complete reflection of M1. This is not aimed to hurt Fedor Emelianenko in anyway. He's been completely mismanaged. I hate to say that Dana White is right, but he's 100% right with most of the comments he's made towards M-1. They unfortunately ruined Fedor's career. Can it be salvaged? Sure. But M1 as a management company is ridiculous. You got to remember everyone at M1 left and they put Evgeni Kogan, a translator, virtually in charge of the company. Director of Operations? What is that? When we were there, we actually had revenue coming in and was producing a product. Now they have nothing coming in and it's in complete disarray. You can't put a translator in charge of running a company."
If Bendo wins, the next title shot would most likely go to Melvin Guillard if he wins his next fight.TheNatural said:If Henderson wins, I don't see how they could give him a shot over Pettis - even though Pettis lost his last fight - he was promised a shot if he beat Henderson.

As does Benavidez-Wineland.Dagless M.D. said:Ben Henderson vs Jim Miller most definitely has title implications.
I'd have to think it would be Miller. I'd say he is the best lightweight in the division aside from Edgar and Maynard.sazabirules said:Who is favored to win in the Miller vs. Henderson fight?
