@JoshGrossESPN: I've heard Mike Whitehead and Travis Wiuff as potential opponents for Fedor Emelianenko in Nov. M-1 is reaching out to managers this week.

Well, I can understand him needing a win. Better than Kevin Randleman again that's for sure.

Basically build Fedor up against some tomato cans on a M-1 Russian traveling tour. He's going to be relegated to European fights like the Heavyweight boxing division. Maybe he can co promote one of those joke HW boxing title fights with one of the Klitschko brothers.

I don't think Fedor has earned a shot at Travis Wiuff or Mike Whitehead yet. They're both on winning streaks.

Warpath would be a more appropriate opponent, I think. Both he and Fedor are on 3 fight losing streaks. They could bill as streak vs streak. Someone's 0 has got to go. (:

fedor should wait to fight sexyama after he gets cut from the ufc. it would be another mw opponent.

I've gotta say, Wiuff and Whitehead are ambitious match ups. You've made a strong argument, but I believe there's an even more enticing fight on the horizon. A man who knocked out Warpath in less than a minute. There was one man Fedor ducked in Pride. One man only. That man is Dan "The Bull" Bobish.

Excellent call, sien916. We should set up a gauntlet for Fedor's road to redemption. Dan "The Bull" Bobish, Ruben "Warpath" Villareal, and Mike "Rhino" Bourke.

All paths lead to DREAM veteran Jimmy "The Titan" Ambriz.

he goes thru those 3 guys, wins a K-1 grand prix, then all the ppl will be back on the fedor war wagon. maybe he can get on a couple of cycles of steroids too. this strategy worked well for another certain hw.

People have to seriously question Fedor's record after this whole bullshit with M1. They say he has some say in the running of the company, so I've been wondering if Fedor has always been shady.

I've never heard anything about M1 rigging fights. Do you have any links?

Would anyone else like to see an Anderson Silva vs Rashad Evans fight?

lol Anderson would knock him out in 5 minutes.

We all saw what he done to Forrest Griffin, and he was toying around in that fight.

Everyone is unbeatable until they get beat, ya know?

So, UFC on Versus going head to head with Summerslam this weekend. First time I can remember a live UFC event of any kind the same time as a WWE PPV. Not that one would necessarily hurt the other, especially since this is a 'B' UFC card. I don't get why its not on Saturday night though. Sunday night is such a dumb night for MMA.

Rashad wouldn't try to stand with him. I think he would be a good match up for Silva.

It's a B card that is arguably better than the last PPV. Miller v Henderson and Oliveira vs Cerrone are PPV main card worthy.

So it looks like Britney Palmer is indeed gone. What a strange story. I think Dana's comments were just an attempt to soften the outrage.

Now Bas Boon says direct payment of fighters wouldn't be a problem: http://www.fightersonlymagazine.co.uk/news/viewarticle.php?id=7456

This just gets weirder and weirder.

I wonder if Zuffa will keep pretending direct payment is their real issue with Golden Glory. I have the strange feeling they aren't going to be welcomed back with open arms. Zuffa did a hard reset on negotiations and the fighters (and fans) paid the price.

The only fighter with a chance at getting their job back is Overeem. Hopefully it's 2012. I want to see him make one more run in the K-1 GP, and have his rubber match with Badr.

What?! Are you kidding me?! To each their own on who they like to see fight but I think this is one of the most incredible cards they've had in the past couple of events. Each fight has FOTN potential written all over it. It's definitely a striker's delight so I could see how you wouldn't be interested if you're into grappling and submissions and what not.

This is a beautiful thing ..

•Dan Hardy vs. Chris Lytle
•Ben Henderson vs. Jim Miller
•Donald Cerrone vs. Charles Oliveira
•Duane Ludwig vs. Amir Sadollah

The only fight there that has potential to be boring is if Miller manages to pin down Henderson and keep him down but I think that is highly unlikely.

It's still a B card with practically no title implications for any of the fights really. Maybe there could be some slugfests though, who knows what they'll be.

Ben Henderson vs Jim Miller most definitely has title implications.

If Henderson wins, I don't see how they could give him a shot over Pettis - even though Pettis lost his last fight - he was promised a shot if he beat Henderson.

I think by the time this Edgar-Maynard stuff shakes out, that Gilbert Melendez is just going to come over from Strikeforce and get the shot.

The title implications are more for Miller. If he wins that would be 8 in a row.

Millen goes on record with Middle Easy on the state of M-1 Global

"I left M1 and it was amicable, but there was a huge amount of money still owed to me for the M1 Series production. I was told I would be taken care of, and I never was. A portion of the money owed was supposed to be for the M1 commentators, Jimmy Smith and Sean Wheelock. They were never paid by M-1, so I paid them out of my own pocket."

"I'm selling these tapes as a way to recoup the substantial amount of money that is owned to me. M1 didn't pay the invoices and the past year and a half they've been giving me BS excuses. I know financially things aren't well for them, but this is a complete reflection of M1. This is not aimed to hurt Fedor Emelianenko in anyway. He's been completely mismanaged. I hate to say that Dana White is right, but he's 100% right with most of the comments he's made towards M-1. They unfortunately ruined Fedor's career. Can it be salvaged? Sure. But M1 as a management company is ridiculous. You got to remember everyone at M1 left and they put Evgeni Kogan, a translator, virtually in charge of the company. Director of Operations? What is that? When we were there, we actually had revenue coming in and was producing a product. Now they have nothing coming in and it's in complete disarray. You can't put a translator in charge of running a company."

If Bendo wins, the next title shot would most likely go to Melvin Guillard if he wins his next fight.

Who is favored to win in the Miller vs. Henderson fight?
I'd have to think it would be Miller. I'd say he is the best lightweight in the division aside from Edgar and Maynard.

Chris Lytle (-130) vs. Dan Hardy (even)
Ben Henderson (+145) vs. Jim Miller (-175)
Charles Oliveira (-130) vs. Donald Cerrone (even)
Amir Sadollah (-310) vs. Duane Ludwig (+250)
