Yeah I've come to the conclusion that MMA fans in general are the bitchiest bunch of crybabies on the planet. Every UFC card sucks. Every fighter not named Fedor or Big Nog is overrated.

That said I still post at the MMAweekly.com forums and I take pleasure in annoying most of the people there with my non-elitist opinions.

There's a lot of money in it, but I think it should be stopped in its tracks, like they should have stopped Adolf Hitler in his tracks. You've got to stop a bad thing before it catches on and overwhelms you. I guess I have to apologize. I'm an idealist about boxing. I see it as a wonderful vehicle for the youth to gain confidence and face life. I see it as an art, a science; a very grueling, very difficult sport in which you have to be in optimum condition, much more than other athletes in other sports

As you've discovered, sherdog simply sucks.

The Underground (mma.tv/tuf) is also 90% suckage, although there are good posters, and even many pro fighters drop in to post occassionally.

NME is right. 90% of posters on MMA forums are morons or trolls. Most of the time I feel we have better discussion here than at any MMA board.

I'll second that. I don't post much on here but the discussion here is better than any mma forum I have been to. Theres just a lot less of it.

I just checked out the sherdog thread.

My Russian still sucks, but the post on Fedor's forum does say what he claims it does. Only question is how legit the informant on Fedor's forum is.

The fact is that there isn't a good MMA forum out there. I find that all the news gets to this thread and it's enough for me.

Umm, I just read Ken Shamrock is returning to the Octagon, said he was never retired.

His last couple of performances just haven't made sense to me. He comes out and looks lightning fast and sharp. His punches, in particular, seem like they're very fast. It's like his brain can't keep up with the rest of his body anymore.

Saw him hit a nice scissors takedown once though.
