You really expect Miyamoto to show a new Zelda trailer on this keynote?! :lol :lol

No?

Bumperoony because it's only a couple of days away.

Anybody think we'll get any juice? Anyone think IGN learning of a new game from Nintendo plus Charles Martinet recording new voice work recently could hint at an announcement of sorts?

Couple of days? The hell you talking about.

3 days left.

This is going to be the biggest
and most disappointing
meltdown ever.

Nah. I dont think anybody is really expecting anything. Not even the usual guilty websites are hyping his keynote up. I'd say most Nintendrones dont even know the keynote exists.

I, personally, expect nothing and my main reason for posting the thread was because Miyamoto's keynotes are almost always interesting in their own right.

Plus the hype train lols.

I wouldn't be surprised if something was alluded to, or even announced, but I don't expect anything and even if something does rear it's head I don't believe it will be significant.

Either that or Zelda Wii.

Hopefully he'll show us how he seduces developers. Wink Wink.

Don't expect too much along the lines of new, never before seen shit like Zelda. New stuff doesn't really come out keynotes Miyamoto has done. 2 out of the 3 keynotes I can recall him doing, there wasn't anything revealed. The last keynote he did, he showed a trailer of SMG (which I would settle for, but it's not what most people would want, I think). I'm going to assume that the bulk of the keynote will consist of discussion about NSMB: Wii, with hopefully a trailer or something for SMG2.

Also, this.

This will be the best birthday present ever.
Happy birthday man.

Do we know who liveblogs this? Anything? Like you guys said, fuck announcements, I wanna know what he's saying.
Do we know the specific time? Someone wanna make a countdown for ease of use?

and long moments of self fellatio, as Shiggy-san goes over and over again how nintendo changing gaming and how the market is wider and people from all ages and ZzzzZzzzz..

AND THEN

Shiggy: <laughs>

This is going be the greatest day ever. ZELDA WII TRAILER SHALL BE GLORIOUS!

Whats up with all the dumb people who are taking these sorts of comments seriously? No one and I mean no one actually believes there will be anything announced and your a fool for thinking otherwise

The more I look at that gif, the more amazing I think it is.
Man, that thing should be posted in every goddamn Nintendo thread from now on, definitely including E3.

I'm hoping for a new Galaxy 2 trailer that will show us the game is more than an expansion.

it is a sequel.

not a new iteration in the mario franchise.

new mechanics and new levels. most sequels are just like this. see gears 1 to gears 2. new mechanics new levels. i dont think anyone was calling gears 2 an expansion....

it will just be some spirit tracks shite

Spirit Tracks is going to own all our faces. I personally would be happy with a new Spirit Tracks trailer. A new Metroid: Other M or Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer would also be terrific, but more than likely it'll be a talk about the dev process and maybe a gameplay demo or two.

Nobody should expect anything anywhere nearly as head-explody as a Metroid 5 announcement or a Zelda Wii trailer though.

Seriously, it looks like an overhyped nintendo fanboy during any sort of event. Now we need a gif for the meltdown when nothing is announced.

Just a reminder, his keynote will start in nearly exactly 22.5 hours, 1:30PM Tokyo time, with a scheduled length of 1 hour.

You son of a bitch. Now that's the only thing I want to happen from anyone ever.
A remake? Really? LA already had one remake and that one's good enough.

What we need is more 2D Zeldas, not 2D Zeldas made into 3D.

Link's Awakening is already a great game, but I could see it as the game Nintendo always wanted: that open-ended exploration game with no fade-to-black load times between zones. Something like SotC or San Andreas. Plus, it's been 11 years since the last "remake" and 16 years since it first came out so I think enough time has passed.

I was surprised that Twilight Princess had load times between areas. Jak and Daxter had an seamless open world in what, 2001?

Barely load times. For the most part, TP's overworld was seamless except for two or three areas.

My memory might be foggy, but I seem to remember quite a few "fading transitions" between the different parts of the world.

The fading transition in Hyrule Field happened when you went to and from a part of the field that was directly next to Hyrule Castle... North, South, East, and West of it.

Also, I wonder if Miyamoto will announce Pulseman 2 immediately or after showing off the trailer for the Wii Zelda game.
