So 1UP Network IS getting MLB 08 The Show media from SONY SPORTS? WTF were they complaining about then?

Hsu has said that they can get information via sites that are only for games press. Like a repository that is free to use.

you know what guy, the videos don't really look that much different. The core mechanic is the same, the lighting is slightly better, and the presentation is way way better, but it doesn't look like the regular game has changed at all. The one reason why I'm in year 2018 is Road to the Show, so I really want to see where that will go.

Some of the animation, the flawed ones, still the same, so I'm actually LESS excited with two months to go.

The finer details of the game changes will not be seen in videos like we've seen so far. You know this. The lighting is much better though. I liked the lighting in 07 anyways, but this is much better right now. RTTS improvements sound awesome. More goals, more specific goals, better handling of call ups/downs with specific reasons why they occurred, etc.

Not really sure what you're looking for specifically in the regular game though. What were your beefs? I mean, just given what they've announced on RTTS, you should be pumped.

MLB2K8 seems to be the same exact game with no changes to the commentary. If a strike three passed ball says "Shades of Mickey Owen" again I will fucking kill myself.

What's the deal with the minors? I miss MVP 05 so much because of the control and actually seeing everything that was happening in the minors, it made the whole system so much better.

They only thing I have a problem with is that the characters always seem too skinny and tall, its been that way since the PS2.

Lighting is approximately 53758 x better than last years.
